Edo State Library Board in conjunction with Edo Wikimedia Hub organized Wikipedia Training for Librarians and Staff in the Edo Education Eco-system

The Edo State Library Board in conjunction with Edo Wikimedia Hub on Tuesday 30th July, 2024 organized a one-day Wikipedia Training for Librarians and Staff in the Edo Education Eco-system with the theme "Enhancing Visibility to Edo History through Wikipedia.

The training took place at the Edo State Library Board hall and had in attendance over sixty (60) participants from the various Edo State owned institutions and MDAs within the Edo State Education Eco-system.

The President of the Edo Wikimedia hub, Omorodion Okuonghae took participants through the rudiments of editing in Wikipedia.

The Director of Edo State Library Board, Efosa Egharevba urged participants to put the skills learnt in the training to enhance the visibility of the Edo education ecosystem and Edo history at large.
