On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Yassine Latoundji met with Spain’s Ambassador to Benin and Nigeria, Félix Costales Artieda, in Cotonou.

Their discussions focused on supporting artists and creators through training, strengthening Benin’s cultural ecosystem, and helping local cultural businesses grow.

They also explored digital preservation of Benin’s heritage, including 3D digitization and restoration of cultural artworks, as well as opportunities to showcase Beninese creativity in Spain. 🌍🎨✨
