Yesterday ,marked yet another historic and memorable day in Anaocha as our indefatigable Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo , visited Anaocha Local Government Area to commission the 2.5-kilometre road project constructed by Chief Tochukwu Nzekwe (Omenife Ichida) through a commendable public-private community partnership initiative.
Mr. Governor commended the project and described it as a practical demonstration of the Aku Luo Uno philosophy he has consistently advocated. He called on other stakeholders and well-meaning sons and daughters of Anaocha and indeed, rest of Anambra State, to emulate such noble and visionary initiatives capable of transforming communities, stressing that government cannot do it alone. According to him, sustainable development requires collaboration between government and the people, especially in the area of infrastructural development and community advancement.
On my part, I sincerely thanked Mr. Governor for all he has done and continues to do for Anaocha Local Government Area. The immense support he has shown me, coupled with his unwavering commitment to the development of Anaocha, has brought remarkable developmental strides and renewed hope to our people.
In his remarks, Chief Tochukwu Nzekwe (Omenife Ichida) expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Governor for the transformational leadership he has continued to provide across Anambra State. He highlighted several completed and ongoing road projects within the area, including the Nri–Agbanabo Road, the Ekwulobia–Agulu–Amawbia Road, the Ekwulobia-Awka-Etiti–Ichida Road, and the ongoing Agulu–Nnobi–Nnewi Road, among others. These landmark infrastructural projects, he noted, continue to position Anaocha for regenerative growth, inclusive development, and sustainable progress within the framework of a government that carries everyone along.
Indeed, it was a great day to savour — a day that further reaffirmed the shared commitment of government, community leaders, and stakeholders towards building a greater and more prosperous Anaocha.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dr. Afam Obidike on his reappointment as Anambra State’s Commissioner for Health. I consider this decision both timely and well-deserved, and I commend His Excellency, Governor Soludo, for once again entrusting leadership to a man whose service has already produced tangible impact.
I believe this continuity reflects a deeper commitment to stewardship over politics—where competence is recognized, rewarded, and sustained for the greater good of our people.
In my prayers, I ask God to grant Dr. Obidike enduring strength and greater wisdom as he carries the weighty responsibility ahead. To me, true leadership in the health sector goes beyond administration; it is a solemn covenant to safeguard life and uphold human dignity.
Congratulations once again, Hon. Dr. Afam Obidike.
Today, I join others and the Christian community to celebrate Fathering Sunday. I honour fathers and father figures for their immense contributions to families and society.
I describe fathers as the first mentors, protectors, providers, and moral guides whose silent sacrifices shape the future of children and strengthen our society.
As a father and leader, I celebrate all fathers in Anaocha for upholding the values of discipline, integrity, hard work, and love. I emphasize that your commitment to nurturing responsible families remains essential for societal growth and stability.
I encourage fathers to remain steadfast, knowing that your efforts transcend generations. I call for homes built on unity, respect, and shared responsibility, and I sincerely thank all fathers for their dedication.

I am pleased to inform Ndi-Anaocha that we will officially flag off the construction of Chief Onyejepu Obianom Road, Ifite Aguluzigbo, on 1st May 2026 by 1:00PM.
This project, being executed under a Public-Private Community Partnership (PPCP), represents a major step forward in our collective drive to deepen infrastructure development in Anaocha. It reflects our commitment to exploring innovative partnerships that bring government, private sector, and community together to deliver lasting progress.
For us, this is more than just a road—it is about improving connectivity, boosting local economic activities, enhancing access, and raising the overall standard of living for our people. It is proof that a greater Anaocha is truly possible when we work together with purpose and vision.
I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, for his relentless efforts in transforming infrastructure across Anambra State. At the local government level, we remain committed to complementing his vision by ensuring that development reaches every community in Anaocha.
I invite all Ndi Anaocha to come out and be part of this important milestone.
Yesterday was indeed a remarkable day in Anaocha LGA as Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo (Onye Ndozi) formally came to declare his intention to run for the Senate in the 2027 elections at the National Assembly.
He made his aspiration known to represent the good people of Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha Federal Constituency (DNA), and I must say, the reception he received in Anaocha was nothing short of overwhelming.
A massive crowd gathered to welcome him, demonstrating strong support and belief in his vision. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with enthusiasm and hope for what lies ahead.
Hon. Nwankwo is no stranger to service. Having previously represented DNA in the House of Representatives, he left a commendable record, and now seeks to take that service a step further. During his address, he spoke passionately to the people, outlining his plans and assuring them of a renewed, people-centered representation. His message resonated deeply with many .
Personally, I was pleased to receive him and listen to his vision. Knowing his capacity and track record, I sincerely wished him well in this journey. I also joined others in offering prayers for him, urging him to commit his aspirations into the hands of God. With God on his side, I believe he will serve in senate diligently and effectively. Once it is in line with God’s will, every other thing will surely fall into place.
The event was graced by notable personalities including former Local Government Chairmen of Anaocha—Hon. Estate Onyedum, Hon. Ikeobi Ejiofor, and Hon. Gerald Ozoh. Also present were the Party Chairman in Anaocha, Chief Anthony Ugorji, the Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Ijeoma Egbuna, alongside party stakeholders, councillors, ward executives, and a host of supporters too numerous to mention.
Indeed, it was a great and memorable day for Onye Ndozi and for all of us in Anaocha.

It is part of our broader resolve to deepen grassroots development in line with the progressive vision of His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, Governor of Anambra State.

Today, at Umuabani Village, Neni, I had the privilege of commissioning an ultra-modern convenience facility (restroom/toilet) newly built for the staff and pupils of Ezekwudo Primary School, Umuabani, in Anaocha LGA.
This project is the product of a meaningful partnership with Neni diasporans in the United States and Canada, who share our vision of giving our children a decent and dignified learning environment.
Ezekwudo Primary School has, over the years, produced generations of distinguished men and women across Neni and Anaocha. Many respected citizens who grew up around Neni passed through this great school. Yet, until now, it was unfortunate to see pupils resort to open urination and defecation due to the absence of proper facilities — an eyesore for the environment, especially as the school is adjacent to Immaculate Heart Catholic Parish.
With this project, we not only provided a modern and hygienic convenience system but also ensured sustainability. A caretaker will be engaged to maintain the facility and guide the pupils to use it responsibly.
This initiative reflects the Think-Home (Aku Luo Uno) Philosophy we continuously champion — a call for our people to join hands with government at the grassroots to build stronger, healthier communities. Government alone cannot do everything. I sincerely thank our Neni brothers and sisters in the diaspora for standing with us.
The Greater Anaocha dream is that our people enjoy the best facilities and a quality standard of living worthy of a civilized society. More to come!
