Today's Holy Mass celebrated at St Joseph the Worker Chaplaincy Garba Square Unizik Awka Anambra State.

Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Remigius Ezeokonkwo.

Theme : THE MOST HOLY TRINITY

During his homily, he spoke of the Solemnity of the most Holy Trinity as the greatest mystery on Earth as Christians. Of all the mysteries we come across as Christians the mystery of the trinity stands out he said.

On a day like this we are reminded to imitate the life of the trinity and express true love to one another as it is Love that unites the trinity he added.

It is no wonder that the greatest commandment of God is that we Love one another as Christ loves us.
Therefore, show concern to your neighbour, give a helping hand and give alms to the needy allowing Gods love to lead us.

In conclusion he said; Today, We are all called up to live the life of the trinity which is the life of unity and Love.
God detests enemity and hatred .Therefore we pray that God inspires us to seek and Live the life of the trinity, the life of unity and love.

THE SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST

Today the congregation where reminded that the Pentecost is the birth of the Church, it is the official inauguration of the church of Christ.

In todays reading, the congregation were encouraged to avail themselves to the Holy Spirit, opening and pouring out there heart to Him, for Him to make us whole and Holy just as He did to St. Augustine.

Finally we were urged to seek the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit to help us grow, so that after our stay here on earth, we may rejoice with the Almighty Father in His kingdom.

Theme: ON THE LAST DAY THEIR WILL BE A RECOMPENSE

Mass which was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Theodore Ikemefula Ilo. During his homily reminded the congregation about the day of reckoning, in his words; Today we are reminded that the day of reckoning will come on the last day and so material things will pass away but our Spirit remains. Irrespective of our worldly accomplishments, we should bear in our minds that there is a day of reckoning he said.

As Christains we need to cultivate the life of forgiveness, remain steadfast in following God like Stephen did in todays reading he added.

We pray that on the last day we shall assemble together with Christ our Savior.

Mass celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Chaplaincy today May 25th, 2025.

*First Reading* : Acts 15:1-2,22-29
*Second Reading:* Apocalypse 21:10-14,22-23
*Gospel* : John 17:20-26

The Theme of today’s Reflection is *THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT*

During the Homily, our Vicar told the congregation of the importance of Holy Spirit to them as Christians. In his words he said; if we have the Holy Spirit in us, we won't have fear. He added we can be servers, choristers, lectors or any group or society or group in the church and yet lack the Holy Spirit in our lives.

He continued saying that, When we accept the Holy Spirit, we will obtain the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are Counsel, Understanding, Wisdom, Fortitude, Piety, Knowledge and Fear of God.

The Priest also advised, to attend Mass on Thursday being the Ascension day of our Lord Jesus Christ and to also be resilient in attending May devotion and Sunday Masses.

He also admonished us to join in the *9 days Novena to the Holy Spirit* which will begin on Friday in preparation for the *Pentecost Day*.

The Priest advised that we shouldn't see coming for May devotion as a waste of time but as a sacrifice with which we can obtain, blessings and graces from our Blessed Mother Mary.

Finally, the Priest asked God to give us the grace to receive the Holy Spirit and avoid fear in our lives.

The Holy Mass continued with the inauguration of new Man Server's.
