In construction, many a time clients do not know exactly what they want. Yes! every client wants the best he can get.

As a professional in the field, it's my responsibility to conceptualize something very beautiful and durable. I should be able to think out designs of Structures that are beautiful and and can fit into any proposed piece of land.

Often times I've had situations were a client would invite me to see his land and design a beautiful Structure that would fit into it. As usual, I will enquire to know if he has any concept in mind, if any, I would always integrate it to mine to produce something nice.

To the glory of God, today I finalized everything about this drawing and am ready to print it out for my client.

It was really not easy, from the conception to the finalization stage, since I had a very busy schedule over the week. But am glad that my client is in love with my Design.

I will always give honour to whom honour is due. In a very special way, I want to appreciate my boss, Engr. Prof. C. A. Chidolue, my M.D Dr. Buchi, my colleague and friend, Engr. Chidolue Amore Chukwunonso my very old and good friends, Engrs. Ugo C Ugo Nwangwu and Anthony Chukwuemeka Echibe I've known them since 2018 at Anambra State Housing Development Cooperation, where I had my internship, they actually taught me how to design with Softwares.
Thank you all for being my support mechanism.

I must say that God has being faithful.

It's very important that after setting goals or plans we need to achieve, the most important thing is to start from somewhere first. When at the initial stage you look at the whole plans, you might be discouraged thinking it's impossible to achieve.

Looking at our complex Construction work, we had to start from somewhere, we took our time for more than a month working with close to 35 workers each day. Today we are almost done with our foundation works.

Simultaneously we are carrying out our Construction works, we are casting our DPC, Columns, Elevator and other works. We've started our formwork for our beams.

We are making a Portal Framed Structure. A Portal frame Structure is a Construction Technique where vertical supports in this case our columns are connected to horizontal beams at fixed joints to be able to resist any form of bending moment that may occur on the Structure.

For a month now, with dedication and professionalism we've being building this complex Structure out from our excavated foundation. At the initial stage we doubted we would come this far within a short period of time. Look at where we are now, and we still pushing.

Engr. Kingsley Obi is a seasoned Professional Civil Engineer and a Structural Engineering enthusiast. I am experienced in Structural Analysis and Designs, General Construction, Construction Management and Supervision, Site Engineering, Project implementation and delivery, AutoCAD/Revit Designs.

My portfolio of work experiences over the years comprises of the following:

- Successful projects in the residential and commercial spaces.

- Part of a team that supervised and managed the creation and development of Obinwanne Estate, Amawbia, Awka Anambra State, an Estate developed by the Anambra State Government under the umbrella of Anambra State Housing Development cooperation (ASHDC). I worked alongside a team of diversified professionals and with highly skilled artisans.

- I am supervising and managing detailed Construction and Structural design of the Medical Academic Complex at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Akamili, Nnewi Anambra State, Nigeria. (Currently under construction)

I am results-oriented with an excellent team spirit and proven leadership qualities.

I am a Graduate member Nigeria Society of Engineers, skilled in Computer-aided Design(CAD) and Revit Software.

I am deliberate and passionate about helping young Engineering Graduates fulfill their career goal.

I will appreciate opportunities that will let me work with different professionals.

The construction processes

After the pre-construction stage which involves, acquisition of land for the construction work, reconnaissance survey, actual survey, designing a building plan, budget estimation, documentation at the necessary authorities and various preparations.

The next stage is the Construction stage which involves the following;

1. Site clearance.
The acquired land for the construction project is cleared and leveled in preparation for the construction work.
