From cutting, stitching, scraping, pricking, to so-called “medicalized” or hospital procedures, every form of FGM is harmful and a violation of a girl’s body, health, and human rights.

No child should suffer pain to prove purity.
No girl should lose her dignity to tradition.
No woman should carry lifelong trauma in silence.

At She Lead Safe Initiative, we stand for safety, bodily autonomy, and freedom for every girl.

Educate.
Speak up.
Protect.

At SheLeadSafe Initiative, we remain committed to protecting the dignity and well-being of the girl child.

Through our recent pad distribution outreach in partnership with Rev. Fr. Chike Obagolum and TINA, we provided essential menstrual hygiene support to young girls, reinforcing our belief that access to sanitary products is not a privilege but a right.

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to promote health, confidence, and uninterrupted education for girls in our communities

Some girls are walking into classrooms every day
with dreams bigger than their fears.

But no one is teaching them how to lead early.
How to stay safe online.
How to understand their bodies without shame.

That’s why was born.

This outreach is for the secondary school girl who is growing fast,
emotionally, digitally, mentally,
but is being left to figure everything out on her own.

We want to sit with her.
Talk to her.
Remind her that her voice matters.
Teach her how to protect herself, online and offline.
And let her know that leadership doesn’t start later.
It starts now.

But we can’t do this alone.
