Today, we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, a reminder that every girl carries within her the strength to dream, the power to lead, and the grace to transform her world and as the Vice President of the Anambra Central Students Association (ANCSA), and as a proud girl myself, I celebrate every young woman who continues to rise above challenges, pursue her education with passion, and inspire others through courage and resilience.
The girl child is not weak, she is wisdom wrapped in strength. She is the bridge between hope and reality, the future of leadership, innovation, and change, and in the spirit of this day, let us continue to create an environment where every girl can learn without fear, lead without limits, and live without barriers. Because when the girl child shines, the entire world becomes brighter. “The girl child is not just tomorrow’s promise, she is today’s power. Empowering the Girl Child: A Stand Against Gender-Based Violence
On October 3, 2025, the Anambra Central Students Association (ANCSA) stood in solidarity with Idemili North Local Government to condemn gender-based violence and promote girls' empowerment.
The epic program, which brought together students, tutors, and facilitators, aimed to educate and sensitize the young minds on the importance of gender equality and the need to protect the girl child.
Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, the participants gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by girls and women, and the ways to overcome them.
To support the educational pursuits of the students and Idemili North Local Government distributed sanitary pads, exercise books, and offered scholarships to deserving students.
Awards were also presented to outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the cause of girls' empowerment.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:

Together, we can create a safer, more inclusive environment for girl child to thrive.

OFFICIAL REPORT OF DECLARATIVE RESULTS
It is with great pleasure that I, Mmadubugwu Chidera, Electoral Chairman, declare the results of the election held today being August 23, 2025 at Cheleku Hotel. The electoral process was a resounding success, characterized by an atmosphere of peace and decorum.
The aspirants exhibited commendable sportsmanship, and the electorate demonstrated maturity and responsibility. The outcome of the election is as follows:
