QUEEN OF THE CLAN
đ EPISODE THIRTY
Written by Tales from C
The clanâs men dispersed, leaving only shadows in the warehouse.
Malikâs hand brushed Ifeomaâs shoulderâtoo gentle for a mafia lord, too dangerous for her disguise.
âWalk with me, Ikenna,â he ordered.
Her legs felt heavy, but she followed.
---
Inside his private chamber, the air smelled of dark wine and gun oil.
Malik poured himself a drink, then turned.
His eyes scanned her, sharp and slow, like he was peeling away her skin.
âYou fight like a man,â he said.
âBut you bleed⌠differently Ifeomaâs breath caught
She forced a laugh, keeping her voice low, rough.
âA fighter bleeds the same, no matter the body.â
Malik stepped closer, his face inches from hers.
âNo. Youâre not like the others. You hide fire behind a mask.â
His fingers brushed the side of her jawâjust for a second.
It was enough to send chills racing down her spine.
---
But before she could answer, Folaâs voice echoed from the hall.
âBrother! We need to talk.â
Malikâs jaw tightened.
His eyes never left Ifeomaâs face.
âAnother timeâŚâ he murmured, almost like a promise.
---
As he left, Ifeoma collapsed onto the chair.
Her secret was slipping.
Malik was seeing too much.
And worseâ
A part of her wanted him to.
---
Fola Adeshina stood at the balcony, the city lights of Lagos burning beneath him.
In his handâa glass of whiskey.
In his heartâresentment.
âMalik thinks he owns the clan,â he muttered.
âBut power should belong to me.â
---
A shadow emerged from the dark.
It was Musa, the clanâs enforcer.
âSay the word, oga. Some of the boys dey your side already.â
Fola smirked.
His younger brother had the loyalty of the clan⌠but loyalty could be bought.
âNot yet. First⌠letâs weaken him.â
---
Then his eyes shifted toward the training pit where âIkennaâ had proven himself.
âThat boy⌠heâs too close to Malik. Too fast, too smart. Something about him doesnât sit right.â
Musa nodded.
âYou want make I test am?â
Fola swirled his drink, thinking.
âNot yet. Letâs watch. The moment will come.â
Below the balcony, Ifeoma felt the weight of their stares.
She knewâ
Her war wasnât only against Malikâs suspicions.
Fola was circling too.
And when betrayal struckâŚ
The blood would drown everyone.

QUEEN OF THE CLAN
đ EPISODE TWENTY__NINE
Written by Tales from C
Night draped over Lagos.
The clan house buzzed with music and drunken laughter, but Ifeomaâs gut was uneasy.
Something was wrong from the shadows, Fola Adeshina watched her every step.
His smile was sharp hungry.
âBrother may be blinded by curiosity,â he muttered to his men.
âBut me? I see through lies.â
Suddenlyâhands grabbed Ifeoma from behind.
A cloth sack covered her face.
She kicked, thrashedâbut they dragged her down a corridor.
The sack was ripped off.
And she found herself in a dimly lit warehouse.
Fola stood before her.
âYouâve fooled many,â he sneered.
âBut not me.â
He circled her like a predator.
âToo fast. Too smart. Too dangerous to be just a boy from the street.
So tell me, Ikenna⌠who are you really?â
Ifeomaâs pulse raced.
The walls felt like they were closing in.
One wrong wordâ
and her cover was finished
Far away, Malik poured himself a drink, unawareâŚ
that his brother had just sprung a trap
that could destroy everything.
Betrayal was closing in.
And Ifeoma had to chooseâfight her way outâŚ
or keep her secret, no matter the cost.
---
Folaâs laughter echoed in the warehouse.
Ifeomaâs chest rose and fell, her fists tightening.
Her secret was seconds away from exploding.
âAnswer me!â Fola roared, shoving her against a steel pillar.
âWho are you really?â
---
Just thenâ
The heavy door slammed open.
Malik Adeshina stepped in.
Tall. Sharp. Eyes colder than midnight.
The room froze.
---
âFolaâŚâ Malikâs voice was calm, dangerous.
âWhat game are you playing?â
âThis boy is a liar,â Fola shot back.
âI feel it in my blood. Heâs hiding something.â
Malikâs gaze shifted to Ifeoma.
Her heart thundered.
Did he see it too?
---
For a long, unbearable momentâMalik just stared.
Then he smirked.
âMy brotherâŚâ he said slowly,
âYou see shadows even when the sun is shining.â
He turned to the men.
âRelease him.â
---
The ropes fell from Ifeomaâs wrists.
Her skin burned where they had bound her.
She forced herself to breathe, to stay calm.
Folaâs jaw clenched in fury.
Malik had protected âIkenna.â
But why?
And in that moment, Ifeoma realized something terrifyingâ
Malik wasnât just curious about her.
He was claiming her.
The war between the brothers had just begun.
And she was the spark that could set everything on fire.

QUEEN OF THE CLAN
đ EPISODE TWENTY__EIGHT
Written by Tales from C
The Adeshina clan gathered in the great hall that night.
Cups clinked. Ci**rs smoked.
Every eye burned with suspicion and greed.
At the center of it allâ
âIkenna,â the newcomer who had already proven too skilled, too fast, too dangerous.
---
âHeâs not one of us,â one elder sneered.
âBoys like him donât just fall from the sky.â
Murmurs spread.
Doubts whispered like venom.
Fola leaned back in his chair, lips curved in a thin smile.
âMaybe we should test his loyalty⌠in other ways.â
---
đĽ Before anyone could add fuel, Malik stood.
His presence silenced the room.
He placed his glass down with deliberate calm, then turned, gaze slicing through every man there.
âIkenna has bled for this clan,â he said coldly.
âAnyone who questions him⌠questions me.â
A heavy silence.
Challenge hung in the air like smoke.
---
Folaâs smirk faltered.
The elders exchanged uneasy glances.
Malikâs hand gripped the back of Ifeomaâs chairâprotective, possessive, dangerous.
âHe stays,â Malik declared.
âUnder my watch.â
---
Ifeomaâs heart thundered.
She had Malikâs protection.
But protection from him was just as terrifying as exposure by Fola.
Because nowâ
she was chained to the lion himself.
---
And lions⌠always demanded blood.
The hall emptied.
The laughter and clinking glasses faded into silence.
Only Malik and âIkennaâ remained.
He didnât sit.
Didnât drink.
Just watched herâlike a hawk circling prey.
---
âYou fight too well for a street boy,â Malik said, voice low, almost casual.
âBut your eyes⌠they tell a different story.â
Ifeomaâs throat tightened.
She forced a smirk, lowering her gaze.
âEyes only see what they want, oga.â
Malik stepped closer.
The air thickened.
---
His hand shot outâgripping her chin.
Forcing her to look up.
âDonât play games with me,â he growled.
âLies are cheap. But betrayal⌠betrayal costs lives.â
Her chest burned with fear.
Did he know?
Could he see through the disguise?
---
Thenâ
Malikâs thumb brushed across her split lip.
Gentle. Too gentle for the man the clan feared.
âWho are you really, Ikenna?â he whispered.
âBecause I swear⌠you feel familiar.â
---
Her mask was cracking.
Her secret bleeding through.
And she had no idea if Malik wanted to expose herâŚ
or protect her.
---
Either wayâ
She was running out of time.

QUEEN OF THE CLAN
đ EPISODE TWENTY__SEVEN
Written by Tales from C
The clanâs chants still echoed when Malik stood, descending from the balcony like a king stepping into his throne room.
His presence silenced the chaos.
Every man lowered his head.
Every woman held her breath.
But his eyes never left her.
âIkenna.â
---
He stopped in front of her.
Close enough for her to feel the heat of his breath.
Close enough for danger.
âYouâve proven yourself,â Malik said, his tone sharp as steel.
âBlood doesnât lie. Youâre clan now.â
He raised her handâthe same one still stained with the spyâs bloodâ
and kissed it.
The hall gasped.
---
It wasnât just a reward.
It was a claim.
Her heart raced.
Not from victory⌠but fear.
Because in that moment, Ifeoma realizedâ
She hadnât just fooled Malik.
She had tied herself to him.
And the way he looked at herâŚ
wasnât just power.
It was possession.
---
Later that night, alone in her room, she scrubbed her hand until it bled.
But no matter how hard she triedâ
she couldnât wash off Malikâs kiss.
---
The line between enemy and lover had blurred.
And Ifeoma knewâŚ
the game had just become more dangerous.
The night after the bloody initiation, Ifeoma sat on her bunk, chest still sore from the fight.
She thought she was aloneâ
until a shadow filled her doorway.
It was Fola Adeshina.
Malikâs younger brother.
The one with eyes like sharpened knives.
---
âYou fight too clean for a street boy,â Fola said, leaning on the frame.
âWhere did you learn that?â
Her throat tightened.
Every word had to be measured, controlled.
âSurvival,â she muttered.
âThe street teaches faster than any master.â
But Fola didnât smile.
He stepped closer.
Circling her like a hunter who already smelled blood.
---
âFunny,â he whispered, tilting his head.
âYour hands⌠donât look like theyâve lived on the street. They look⌠delicate.â
Her pulse hammered.
Did he see it?
Did he know?
---
Then footsteps echoed down the corridor.
Malik.
He appeared, gaze sweeping the roomâ
and when he saw Fola standing too close to âIkenna,â his jaw tightened.
âBrother,â Malikâs voice was low, dangerous.
âFind someone else to interrogate.â
---
Fola smirked.
But his eyes stayed locked on Ifeoma as he backed away.
And in that stare, she read a warningâ
and a promise.
---
⥠Trust was cracking.
Suspicion was spreading.
And Ifeoma knew⌠Fola might be the first to expose her.

The hall had emptied, leaving only shadows and silence.
But Malik didnât leave.
Instead, he turned back to âIkennaââ
to her.
âYou heard what I said in there,â he murmured, stepping closer.
âI claimed you. Now prove youâre worth the risk.â
---
Her throat went dry.
âProve⌠how?â she asked, forcing her voice to stay steady.
Malikâs eyes gleamed in the dim light.
âBy showing me you wonât betray me.â
He held out a knife.
Cold. Sharp. Deadly.
On the floor lay a sack. It shifted. Groaned.
Insideâone of the clanâs spies, caught feeding information to the police.
âKill him,â Malik said softly.
âOr Iâll know youâre lying to me.â
---
Her stomach twisted.
She had taken punches, shed blood, lived a lieâ
but this⌠this was different.
Could she murder an innocent man, just to protect her cover?
The spyâs muffled eyes locked on hers, wide with pleading.
Malik leaned in, his voice brushing her ear like a dark caress.
âDo it, Ikenna. Show me you belong to me⌠or die with him.â
---
⥠Her hands shook as she took the knife.
Her heart screamed one truthâI canât.
But her mission whispered anotherâI must.
And Malikâs eyes never left her.
Watching. Testing. Wanting.
The knife felt heavy in her hand.
Every second dragged, the clanâs silence pressing in.
The spy thrashed inside the sack.
Muffled cries.
Desperation.
Her pulse thundered.
Her mission screamed survive.
Her soul screamed donât.
But Malikâs voice cut through it all.
âDo it.â
---
Her grip tightened.
One breath.
One swing.
đŞ The blade plunged down.
The sack went still.
Blood spread across the floor.
The hall reeked of iron.
---
The clan erupted into wild cheersâ
but Malik didnât move.
His eyes stayed locked on her, searching.
Almost⌠hungry.
âYouâve crossed the line now,â he whispered.
âThereâs no going back.â
---
Behind her mask, Ifeoma felt her soul crack.
She had become what she fearedâ
a killer.
And Malik?
He smiled.
Because now, she was his.

The clan dispersed slowly, whispers cutting like blades.
Chikeâs blood was still fresh on the marble, his body dragged away.
But Malik didnât look at them.
His eyes never left her.
Ifeoma.
He waited until the hall was empty.
Thenâwithout a wordâhe grabbed her arm and pulled her into his private chamber.
---
The door slammed shut.
The silence was sharp.
He cornered her against the wall, hands braced beside her head, caging her in.
His scentâsmoke, wine, gunpowderâwrapped around her.
âYou lied to me,â he said again, voice lower, rougher.
âDo you know what that means in my world?â
Her pulse thundered.
âThen kill me,â she whispered, chin lifted. âDo it now.â
---
But Malik didnât pull the trigger.
He pressed closer, eyes dark, jaw clenched.
âKilling you would be easy.â
His hand traced the line of her jaw, slow, dangerous.
âBut youâve made it⌠complicated.â
Her breath caught.
Every nerve screamed to runâ
Yet her body betrayed her, leaning into his touch.
---
For the first time, Ifeoma saw itâ
The cracks in Malikâs mask.
The war inside him.
He wanted her dead.
He wanted her alive.
He wanted her⌠his.
And that terrified her more than his gun ever could
Malikâs hand lingered against her cheek.
The silence stretchedâheavy, dangerous, intimate.
For a moment, Ifeoma thought he might actually kiss her.
Her breath hitched. Her lips parted.
The world shrank to just the two of themâ
Predator and prey, drawn together like fire and gasoline.
But thenâ
đĽ BANG!
The chamber door burst open.
---
Fola stormed in, face tight with rage.
âMalik! What have you done? The clan is furious. You killed Chike without council approval!â
Malik stepped back from Ifeoma, mask snapping into place.
âThe boy was a traitor. My word is final.â
But Folaâs eyes darted to herââIkenna.â
Suspicion burned there.
âAnd this one?â Fola sneered.
âWhy do you protect him so fiercely? Who is he really?â
---
If only the ground would swallow her whole.
Ifeomaâs heart pounded, hands trembling at her sides.
One wrong word, one wrong lookâand everything would unravel.
Malikâs gaze cut through the tension like a blade.
âHeâs mine,â Malik said coldly.
âTouch him, and youâll answer to me.â
---
The room stilled.
Even Fola blinked, thrown off by Malikâs choice of words.
Mine.
Ifeoma swallowed hard.
The lie had just turned into something elseâ
Something far more dangerous.
---
The clan was circling.
Folaâs suspicions were growing.
And Malikâs claim had just painted a target on her back.
But why⌠why did part of her feel safer in Malikâs shadow than anywhere else?

đ EPISODE TWENTY__FOUR
Written by Tales from C
The first gunshot cracked through the hall.
Chaos ignited.
Clan soldiers ducked for cover, bullets tearing through the air.
Chikeâs men stormed in, spraying lead like rain.
Ifeoma dove behind a table, chest heaving.
Her secret was outâher life on the line.
Malik drew his pistol with cold precision.
One shotâdead center a gunman dropped.
But his eyes still flicked to her.
Always back to her.
đŹ âStay down!â he barked.
đŹ âI donât take orders from you!â Ifeoma snapped, firing back at Chikeâs men.
Their voices clashed louder than the gunfire.
---
In the smoke, Chike laughed, reloading.
đŹ âLook at you, Ifeoma. Pretending to be a soldier. Pretending to be a man. Pretending to belong here.â
His words cut deep.
But rage steadied her hands.
She firedâ
A bullet grazed his arm.
The laugh died from his lips.
---
Malik shot another soldier, then grabbed Ifeomaâs wrist, yanking her close.
Their faces inches apart.
His voice low, rough, dangerous.
đŹ âTell me the truth, nowâwho the hell are you to my clan?â
Her pulse thundered.
Bullets flying around them.
And stillâthis man demanded her truth.
đŹ âThe woman whoâs here to burn it all down,â she whispered.
---
The hall fell to silence for a moment.
Just the two of them, breathing hard, staring.
Enemy or ally?
Lover or executioner?
Only the next shot would decide.
The gunfire thinned.
Bodies littered the marble floor.
Smoke hung heavy in the air.
Malik still held her wrist.
His grip was iron.
His eyesâblazing fire.
đŹ âYou lied to me,â he said, voice low.
đŹ âYou walked into my clan, into my house... and you think you can play me?â
Ifeoma ripped free, chest heaving.
Her disguise was in shreds now.
No more Ikenna.
Just her.
đŹ âI didnât come to play you. I came for the truth.â
---
Chikeâs laughter cut through the silence.
He was bleeding, but smiling.
đŹ âSee, Malik? Sheâs not one of you. Sheâs here to destroy everything we built.â
He raised his gun, pointing at her.
đŹ âLet me finish it for you.â
---
Malik turned slowly.
His pistol liftedâ
But not toward her.
đĽ BANG.
Chike staggered back, blood spraying, eyes wide with betrayal.
đŹ âYou⌠chose her?â he gasped, collapsing to the floor.
---
The hall froze.
Every soldier stared.
Malik stood tall, gun still smoking, voice cold as steel.
đŹ âSheâs mine now. Anyone who touches her dies.â
His words echoed like thunder.
And Ifeomaâs heartâ
It pounded with fear, with fireâŚ
