ROME - Pope Leo XIV warns Priests to stop using AI to write homily
Pope Leo XIV has urged priests not to use artificial intelligence to write their homilies or chase “likes” on platforms like TikTok.
Speaking to clergy in Rome after Ash Wednesday, he reminded them that a true homily is faith shared from the heart — something AI can never replace.
He also warned against measuring ministry by online popularity, stressing that people want authentic witness, not digital performance.
In a world driven by clicks, the pope’s message is simple: The Gospel must be lived, not generated

Somebody should tell Damina that where his knowledge of the Bible ends that is where the knowledge of Catholics begins.
We begin today in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
First Sunday of lent Year (A)
Have mercy, O Lord, for we have sinned.

Reflections
Today marks Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent, a season of reflection, fasting, and spiritual renewal.
As we wear the ashes on our foreheads, we remember that ‘we are dust, and to dust we shall return’
(Genesis 3:19).
Let’s take this time to renew our hearts and grow closer to God. ✝️
