Those rallying behind Sir Siminalayi Fubara are only deceiving themselves. They will continue living in denial until the APC gubernatorial primaries.

And when those primaries come — and he fails to secure the ticket — reality will finally set in.

Then, those who were deaf will hear.
Those who were dumb will speak.
Those who were blind will see clearly.

All this in a state of 7 million people where 74% lack safe water, 55% drink E. coli‑contaminated water, 4 in 10 defecate openly, and kids die from cholera and other waterborne diseases.
