📌 Theme: Leading with Confidence, Character, Teamwork, and Purpose

Today, our prefects at Mabest Academy participated in a highly impactful Student Leader Training Session designed to equip them with the skills, confidence, and values needed to lead effectively within and beyond the school environment.

The training focused on communication, teamwork, responsibility, integrity, and becoming exemplary role models to fellow students. We are proud of the enthusiasm, commitment, and leadership potential displayed by our prefects throughout the session.

We were also honored to have our distinguished Guest Speaker, Mr. Aladenika Adeleye Adepoju, whose insightful words and practical leadership lessons greatly inspired our students to become purposeful and responsible leaders.

Leadership is not just about wearing a badge; it is about service, responsibility, discipline, and inspiring others positively.

✅ General Requirements (All Applicants Must:)
• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject (B.Ed, B.Sc + PGDE or equivalent).
• Have strong knowledge of IGCSE, British Curriculum, and Nigerian Curriculum.
• Be ICT savvy and able to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be passionate, innovative, and student-focused.
• Have at least 2–3 years teaching experience (IGCSE experience is an added advantage).

📘 Subject-Specific Requirements
🔢 Mathematics Teacher
• Strong mastery of core and advanced Mathematics concepts.
• Ability to prepare students for IGCSE and other external examinations.
• Competence in using digital tools and simulations for teaching Mathematics.
• Experience in handling both junior and senior secondary classes.

🇫🇷 French Teacher
• Degree in French or related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written French.
• Ability to prepare students for international examinations (IGCSE preferred).
• Experience with language labs and digital learning tools is an advantage.

🗺 Geography Teacher
• Strong knowledge of Physical and Human Geography.
• Experience preparing students for IGCSE Geography examinations.
• Ability to conduct map work, fieldwork, and data analysis.
• Skilled in using GIS tools and digital mapping resources (an added advantage).

🗣 Yoruba Teacher
• Degree in Yoruba or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian curriculum requirements.
• Ability to promote cultural heritage and language fluency.
• Skilled in engaging students through interactive and modern teaching methods.
