This was a pecial request for a special someone.
I know it looks simple but it took me forever to come up with the design. Read on to find out why.
The request went something like this: "Make it cute but still somewhat masculine and please include sprinkles"

"Sometimes I wish they could just assemble themselves." That's not the point of this post though.
Love is in the air, and we are preparing to inhale every last molecule of it.
COVID may not allow fancy dinners at fancy restaurants but might we suggest a quaint candlelight dinner for two indoors. Desert can be followed by a gift basket full of handcrafted goodies á la Ethnique by RBL a.k.a yours truly.

The way I feel when my little ones make a request of me gives me a tiny glimpse of how God must feel when I make a request of Him.
Even when I have clearly said "NO", the wheels in my head start turning and I can't seem to get it out of my mind until I find a way to give them what they have asked for, or at least an "acceptable alternative". (especially if they keep asking).
Getting them to accept the "acceptable alternative" may be tough but it is what I feel is best for them at that particular point in time. I may be wrong, I may be right but either way mom's in charge so they just have to "take it".
Sometimes God's "acceptable alternative" may be difficult to accept but fortunately for us, He is ALWAYS right!
This teddy bear was a special request from my little one for his birthday. Fortunately, I was able to give him exactly what he asked for. 😁💃🏾

A headless or "leader less" nation weeps for it's children.
Anger was the prevalent emotion. Anger has devolved into wrath and wrath has given rise to violence and destruction.
Our feelings, thoughts and opinions may not matter to our "leaders" but we must hear and truly listen to one another.
