THE BELIEVER’S CREED

I believe in God Almighty,
The Maker of heaven and earth,
The Father of spirits,
The Giver of life, purpose, and destiny.

I believe in Jesus Christ,
The Son of the Living God,
Who died for my sins,
Was buried, and rose again on the third day.
He is my Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer,
And my soon-coming King.
Through His blood I am forgiven,
Through His Spirit I am empowered,
Through His Name I walk in victory.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The Breath of God within me,
My Guide, my Helper, my Strength,
The One who leads me into all truth,
And conforms me to the image of Christ.
By Him I live,
By Him I am sealed,
By Him I overcome.

I believe that the Word of God is my final authority—
Living, active, eternal, and unchanging.
I receive it with meekness,
I confess it with boldness,
And I walk in its light daily.

I believe I am a citizen of God’s Kingdom,
A light to my generation,
A witness of His power,
And an ambassador of His righteousness.
I am saved, sanctified, and sent.

I declare that my life is for the glory of God,
My days are ordered by the Lord,
And my steps are established in His purpose.
I walk by faith, not by sight;
I stand in grace, not in fear;
I live in love, not in strife.

This is my creed.
This is my confession.
This is my life—
In Christ Jesus, my Lord.
Amen.

Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds. It is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken. Love alters not with time's brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of time'.
