Not every event is a celebration of what’s beginning.
Some of the most meaningful ones are a celebration of what has already been built.

We recently had the honour of designing the UBA Send Forth for 5 Directors, an evening dedicated entirely to honouring five leaders who have given years of their lives to building something greater than themselves.

There is a specific kind of care that goes into designing an experience like this. Because the people in the room aren’t just attending an event. They are witnessing a moment in history. The closing of a chapter that deserves to be honoured with the same level of excellence it was lived with.

That is what we showed up to deliver.

I want you to watch her face when she talks about this.

Chiamaka came into Cohort 2 at a threshold moment. She had the passion. She had the eye. She had already been delivering events for people around her for years, sometimes for free, sometimes for a thank you, sometimes just because nobody else could see the vision the way she could.

Setup days will always tell the truth.

You can feel it the moment you arrive on site, before the trucks are fully unloaded, before the first structure goes up. The tone of the day is already set. Either there’s calm, direction, and quiet confidence, or there’s tension, rushing, and decisions being made on the fly.
