Please Nigerians help me judge this matter.
I sell food in front of my house. There's this neighbor that always buys food on credit. Anytime she comes she will say “my husband will send the money soon.”
Because we live close I kept trusting her.
Her debt reached almost 70 thousand naira. Anytime I ask for payment she will avoid me.
Last week I politely told her I cannot continue giving her food on credit until she pays part of the money.
This woman got angry and started shouting in public that I'm embarrassing her because of food.
The shocking part is later that evening I saw her husband buying drinks and suya with his friends.
Yesterday her children came again to buy food and I refused to give them because of the debt.
Now neighbors are saying I shouldn't punish innocent children because of their parents problem.
Please what would you have done if you were in my shoes?

Please help me judge this matter.
My husband younger sister normally drops her two children in my house every morning before going to her shop. One is 5 years old and the other is just 2. At first I didn't complain because family is family. I bath them, feed them, wash their clothes and still take care of my own 3 children.
The problem now is that she has started acting like it's my responsibility. Sometimes she won't even call to ask if I'm okay. She can leave the children from morning till 9pm. Even when the children fall sick, she won't buy drugs. She will tell me “please manage them till I come back.”
Last week I was very sick with malaria. I told her I couldn't take care of the kids that day. She begged me and said she would come back early. This woman left the children with me and switched off her phone.
Around evening the 2 year old started having serious fever and was crying nonstop. I had no money on me so I used the little money I kept for food to rush him to hospital.
Do you know this woman came back by 10pm and instead of apologizing she was angry I took the child to hospital without telling her first.
Since that day I stopped keeping her children. Now the whole family is saying I'm wicked and proud because small money entered my hand.
Please am I wrong ?
