I had the privilege of meeting Oseloka Henry Obaze, and it was truly a remarkable experience.
A seasoned diplomat, accomplished public servant, and respected political figure, he has spent decades contributing to governance and policy both in Nigeria and on the global stage. He served in the United Nations for over 20 years, working on peacebuilding, diplomacy, and international relations before returning home to serve as Secretary to the Anambra State Government.
Beyond politics, he is also a thinker and author, deeply committed to good governance, nation-building, and meaningful development. His experience in both international diplomacy and local governance reflects a rare blend of global perspective and grassroots understanding.
Meeting him in person, you can clearly see the wisdom, calm leadership, and depth of insight he brings to every conversation. It was not just a meeting, but an engaging exchange of ideas that reinforces the importance of visionary leadership in shaping a better future.
Moments like this remind me that true leadership is built on experience, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve.

The recent development concerning the withdrawal of access to the venue initially approved for the convention of the ADC is deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about the state of democratic freedom in Nigeria.
It is unacceptable that after due process was followed and all necessary payments made, such approval would be revoked under alleged pressure. If truly influenced by authorities linked to the FCT administration under , then this action undermines the principles of fairness, political tolerance, and the rule of law.
Democracy thrives where all political actors are given equal opportunity to organize, assemble, and engage with citizens without intimidation or interference. Any attempt to suppress or frustrate legitimate political activities sets a dangerous precedent and erodes public trust in governance.
I strongly call on relevant authorities to uphold justice, ensure neutrality, and respect the rights of all political parties, regardless of affiliation. Nigeria must not drift into a system where power is used to silence opposition or manipulate democratic processes.

Nigeria is bleeding… and the silence is becoming louder than the cries of the victims.
Every day, families wake up to fear instead of hope. Children can no longer travel freely, parents lie awake at night praying their loved ones return home safely, and communities are slowly being held hostage in their own land. Kidnapping is no longer just news—it is now a terrifying reality that has crept into our homes, roads, and our hearts.
How did we get here?
When human life loses its value, when criminals become emboldened, and when citizens begin to feel abandoned, then a nation stands on a dangerous edge. This is not just about statistics or headlines—these are real people, real tears, real pain.
We cannot normalize this.
We cannot continue to scroll past these stories as though they are distant tragedies. Today it is someone else, tomorrow it could be anyone. The insecurity in our land is not just a government problem; it is a national emergency that demands urgency, accountability, and decisive action.
We must speak. We must demand better. We must protect one another. Because a nation that cannot guarantee the safety of its people is a nation in distress.
To every victim, every grieving family, and every Nigerian living in fear—your pain is seen, your voices must be heard, and your lives matter.
Enough is enough.

Trusting the process is not just about patience—it’s about responsibility. When the government plays its role and the people stay engaged, progress becomes possible. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but every step forward matters. Let’s trust the process and build the future we deserve.
Question the source of sudden wealth.
Not every success story is clean, and not every rich man is wise. In a world where money appears overnight, wisdom demands that we ask questions. Wealth without roots often has a dangerous price, and prosperity without principles rarely lasts. Before you admire the shine, look for the source of the light.
