Pamper My Ride

When you See it...

It's not everyday you wake up with positive vibes, and when you do, what do you do about it?

When Last Friday morning came with positive vibes... I chose to share some of it. I saw a funny yet smart looking referral Poster on my Anty's status and a " light bulb switched on" in my mind. I ended up getting some vital lessons I hope not to forget soon.

I decided to give one or two persons the chance to add a few more design samples to their freelancer portfolios. I tagged it "Remake this for my Brand" challenge.

The first respondent submitted in less than 5 minutes and the carbon copy output did blow my mind away. Grrrr... Only if the branding matched. While trying to guide him to make needed edits, I got 2 more responses from a guy and then a Lady.

The first respondent unfortunately seemed to have thought he had reached the finish line. I didn't hear from him again. I decided to spice the game up a bit with some tests for the other 2 respondents. The outcome? Both consistently demonstrated that willingness to do better was more important than the Prize.

The initial plan was to pick one for third, second and first position. I however decided to change the scoring formular.

A fourth respondent came along but I felt there's no more room for more. Respondent A at this time was still slacking off but I didn't mind.

I eventually announced the guy and Lady as the first prize winners and the 4th respondent as Second place.

Yes, I understand you were not there when it happened, but did you capture the possible reasons why I rewarded the 3 other respondents and lessons learnt?

🔍 Are you in the know about the economic impact of the "Right to Repair Bill" on developing nations like Nigeria? 🤔

Before diving deeper, check the situation with car repairs and the soaring costs... You might want to delay selling off your 20 year old Car.

With cumulative professional diagnostics subscriptions creeping up to $2000 for non-OEM equipment and resources, there's no sign of relief on the horizon!

And let's clear the air on the misconception that mechanic shops are simply cashing in because they handle luxury vehicles.

Below are current costs mechanics seldom discuss. And we actually most times overlook the reality of costs and resources. 📉

Eid Mubārak! 🌙✨

On this blessed day of Eid al-Adhā and the 3 that follows, may Allah grant us sincerity like Prophet Ibrāhīm (عليه السلام), obedience like Ismā‘īl (عليه السلام), and steadfastness upon the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

May Allah accept our sacrifices, prayers, dhikr, and every act of worship. May He fill our homes with barakah, our hearts with īmān, and our lives with peace and happiness.

Taqabbalallāhu minnā wa minkum صالح الأعمال
(May Allah accept righteous deeds from us and from you.)
