The Global Youth Sustainable Development Forum (GYSDF) invites applications from outstanding young innovators, entrepreneurs, creators, inventors, and changemakers to participate in its 2026 Forum in Nairobi, Kenya.

Forum Theme: Empowering Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Applications are invited from individuals who meet the following criteria:

Aged between 20 and 35 years
University graduates, or non-graduates who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, creativity, or impactful achievements
Entrepreneurs, innovators, inventors, creators, and young leaders making meaningful contributions to sustainable development
Individuals with innovative ideas, projects, enterprises, or inventions that address social, economic, environmental, technological, or community development challenges.

HOW TO APPLY:

Interested applicants should submit the following documents:

A current Curriculum Vitae (CV) or professional profile.
A statement of interest (maximum one page) describing:
Their background and achievements;
Their innovation, entrepreneurial venture, invention, creative work, or contribution to sustainable development;
Their motivation for participating in the Forum; and
Their intended role at the Forum (Keynote Speaker, Discussant, or Participant).

Submission should made via email to: [email protected] on or before 15th July, 2026.

SELECTION PROCESS

Applications will be reviewed by the Forum Organizing Committee. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information regarding participation, presentation opportunities, and Forum activities. Applications for keynote speaker and discussant roles will be reviewed based on the applicant's experience, expertise, achievements, and demonstrated contribution to sustainable development, innovation, entrepreneurship, or related fields.

PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES:

Selected participants will have the opportunity to:
Present innovative projects, enterprises, inventions, and sustainable development initiatives
Engage with international experts, policymakers, academics, and fellow innovators
Build networks and partnerships for future collaboration
Contribute to discussions on global sustainability challenges and opportunities
Showcase youth-led solutions that promote sustainable development
