At the beginning......

Amida Technologies Limited has recently branched into ICT content development as a way of further adding value to other segments of our market. To this end, our management and team of researchers recently wrote and published computer education text books for primary and secondary schools. All the books in our series are in-line with the national curriculum as prepared by the Nigerian Education Research and Development Council (NERDC). We are honored to announce that all the books in our series has recently been approved by the the FCT Education Resource Centre (ERC) for use by schools in the FCT for the academic sessions, 2013, 2014, and 2015. We now have books for primary 1-6, JSS 1-3 and SS1-3. We have no doubt that these materials will add immense value to students who use them. In line with our vision to continuously seeks ways and means to find practically IT solution that helps the average Nigerian create wealth, we have decided to introduce E-Payment/Solution training courses into our Training package. Amida Technologies recently signed an MOU with the Nigerian Association of Computer Science Students(NACOSS), University of Abuja Chapter, to train NACOSS members at the IT lab of the university in Gwagwalada. This new partnership it expected to drastically drop the cost of training for professional courses for all computer science students of University of Abuja. This is another medium we are using to open doors to a world of endless possibilities powered by IT.

Amida Technologies offers scholarship worth 4 Million Naira to University of Abuja Computer Science Students. This scholarship which will benefit 25 students of the institution is aimed at encouraging young computer science students to acquire certifications in specialized IT areas in a hands-on manner. The company aims to make this scholarship scheme an annual event.
