Monday has a funny reputation.
Most times i sigh when it arrives, as if the week has suddenly become heavy.
However, Monday is actually the freshest page of the calendar ,the greenest day, full of quiet potential and unfinished possibilities waiting to be claimed. It is the day that quietly sets the rhythm for everything that follows.
The small decisions made on Monday often echo through the entire week.

Valentine’s Day Chronicles 😂😂😂
Last Valentine’s Day feels like a movie scene in my head.
I was heavily pregnant, moving slower, breathing louder, and carrying snacks like emergency equipment 😄. But I was also glowing in that soft, quiet way that comes from knowing your life is about to change forever.
That day doubled as our 4-year engagement anniversary, so we decided to step out and celebrate before our tiny roommate arrived.
I remember struggling to find something cute to wear because nothing fit the way it used to. My shoes felt tighter, my steps were slower, and I kept asking, “Are you sure this dress still looks fine?” every five minutes.
We went out anyway.
The restaurant lights were warm, the music was soft, and for a few hours I forgot about swollen feet, midnight kicks, and the mountain of baby items waiting at home. I laughed loudly, ate without guilt, and enjoyed that calm before motherhood officially clocked in.
At some point I placed his hand on my belly and the baby kicked right on cue — like a tiny “Happy Valentine’s Day” from inside. We laughed so hard the waiter had to come back twice before we could order.
Looking back now, I didn’t realize how precious that night was. It was the last Valentine’s Day before life became louder, fuller, and beautifully different.
Sometimes memories become sweeter with time.

I watched a video of a popular hair vendor who always eulogize her husband online singing a different song yesterday. While I await to hear the man’s side of the story, I think it’s necessary for both party to extensively discuss and have an affidavit of understanding because marriage is not supposed to take away your identity, your safety, or voice.
This should also serve as a heartfelt reminder for women ; Afterall , we all know that Social media often shows only the beautiful moments, but real life goes far beyond curated posts. A truly happy home is not defined by public praise for your partner, but by how safe, respected, and appreciated you feel in private.
✍️Your individuality is important. Marriage is a union, not a loss of self. Your goals, friendships, career, voice, and passions should continue to thrive. I appreciate her for speaking out because keeping quiet does not heal abuse. Enduring violence or emotional pain does not make anyone stronger rather it increases harm and risk.
✍️Love should feel secure. Disagreements are part of life, but fear, control, intimidation, and harm are never acceptable.
✍️You deserve help and support. Reach out to trusted friends, family, mentors, or therapists. You do not have to face everything alone.
✍️Guard your independence. Emotional, financial, and social stability are not threats to marriage, they are safeguards for your wellbeing.
✍️Stop pretending everything is perfect while hurting in silence. Your life is not a performance. Your safety matters more than appearances.
✍️A healthy marriage should allow you to grow, breathe freely, and feel safe. Never lose yourself in the process of trying to sustain a relationship.
