Child Shield Initiative at the CSACEFA Meeting

Child Shield Initiative was delighted to participate in the Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) meeting, where education stakeholders came together to discuss practical ways to strengthen the education system in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A key focus of the meeting was Safe Schools, recognising that quality education cannot be achieved without creating learning environments where every child is protected, respected, included and able to learn without fear.

At Child Shield Initiative, we believe that child protection and quality education go hand in hand. Our participation in conversations such as this reinforces our commitment to advocating for safer, more inclusive and child-friendly learning environments.

We look forward to continued collaboration with CSACEFA and other stakeholders in advancing policies, practices and interventions that put the safety, rights and wellbeing of every child at the centre of education in the FCT.

Together, we can build schools where children are safe, heard, protected and empowered to thrive.
