PFSEE Historic Partnership with the Ministry of Environment for a Sustainable Future!

On February 13, 2025, Printrite Foundation for Sustainable Environment and Education (PFSEE) met with the Ministry of Environment's Pollution Control and Environmental Health Department, represented by Deputy Director Ms. Falmata Bukar-Kolo and her supporting team.

Together, we're combatting single-use plastic pollution in Nigeria by promoting biodegradable and recyclable alternatives, tagged "Plastic Alternative Containers" (PAC). This partnership aims to create a collaborative environment between the government and public to achieve our shared goal of reducing single-use plastics.

Aligning with the National Policy on Plastic Waste Management and SDG Goal 13, we're committed to environmental protection and awareness creation in schools and communities.

In commemoration of International days for the Elimination of violence against women with the theme "Unite to End Violence Against Women and Girls! Excuse.

It's 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence which started November 25th to end December 10th to mark Human Rights Day.

PFSEE took the campaign across schools sensitizing pupils, students and teachers on "Zero Tolerance for Violence against women and girls."

The Printrite Foundation for Sustainable Environment and Education (PFSEE) took action at the Federal Secretariat, distributing eco-friendly paper food bags (PAC) to help reduce single-use plastic waste.

SEE Club Represents at National Environmental Sanitation Day Quiz Competition!🌍🏆

We are proud to announce that the SEE Club from JSS Garki represented Printrite Foundation at the quiz competition organized by the Federal Ministry of Environment to commemorate the 2024 National Environmental Sanitation Day.

Our students showcased their knowledge on key environmental issues, reinforcing the importance of maintaining clean and sustainable communities. Their dedication and passion for environmental preservation are truly inspiring, and we are excited to see how these young leaders continue to champion sustainability!

PFSEE Donates 50 Trees to AYGF as Part of the I Plant A Tree (IPAT) Campaign.

We’re thrilled to announce that as part of our I Plant A Tree (IPAT) campaign, Printrite Foundation donated 50 trees to the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) to be planted at JSS Kado-kuchi and JSS Garki.🌱🌍

During the tree-planting initiative, we also engaged with the students, leading a powerful sensitization session on the countless benefits of trees and the importance of sustainability measures in their daily lives. From combating climate change to improving air quality, these young minds now understand the critical role trees play in preserving our environment for future generations.

Together, we are growing a greener and more sustainable future!

Celebrating 2024 World Environment Day with AEPB: Focusing on Land Restoration and Sustainability.🌱🌍

In commemoration of World Environment Day 2024, themed “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Desert Restoration”, PFSEE in partnership with Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB), proudly participated in an enlightening exhibition!

We showcased innovative solutions including biodegradable pots, trees of different varieties, and Plastic Alternative Containers (PAC), all aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and combating desertification. These practical alternatives highlight the importance of eco-friendly practices in restoring our lands and reversing the effects of desertification.

As we celebrate this important day, let’s take collective action toward sustainable solutions that protect and restore our planet! 🌿🌎

Printrite Foundation Plants 100 Trees in Piwoyi Community!💚🌳

In collaboration with the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) and as part of the I Plant A Tree (IPAT) initiative, Printrite Foundation proudly led a community outreach program in Piwoyi, where we planted 100 trees!🌿🌍

This initiative is a critical step in combating deforestation, reducing carbon footprints, and promoting environmental sustainability in local communities. With every tree we plant, we’re working towards a greener, healthier planet for future generations.

A big thank you to the residents of Piwoyi for their participation and to AEPB for partnering with us to make this vision a reality. Together, we’re planting hope, one tree at a time!
