You people that used to tell me, "oju e n dan" and I reply with "na coconut oil"... now you know I wasn't kidding.) It worked o but I started getting darker. My face was looking like burnt offering. Eh God, what have I done? The same soap I made that was working for every other person in my house, e reach my turn, I cannot explain.

Thank God for people with witty inventions! I came across DANG products in 2020 but I couldn't afford it. I started saving up to get at least one... In 2021, I was able to buy 2 products(the face wash and niacinamide serum). I tried these two and was religiously using them and I started noticing the changes. My mum started seeing it too and would remind me to ensure I use it, especially when I was too tired at night.

To cut the long story short, 2 years down the line, I can proudly go anywhere without having to bother about make-up or people's comment about my face.
I rock my skin without apology!

How can I forget to mention the best sister-in-love that's always spoiling me silly with products now. Biko patronise khen so that she can buy me more products.

Long post 📢 ⚠️

The story behind the picture in slide 2 is one I'll always remember! I saw shege pro max for over 4years!

Back story: I have always been proud of my skin, but this particular season of my life, it was a different story entirely. I had a minor surgery(appendectomy) back in 2016 and that was the beginning of trouble in paradise.

Shortly after the surgery, I started having terrible skin reactions(side effects of the antibiotics I took), on my face, back and chest... I could not explain it, doctors could not explain it.
Senior consultants in dermatology could not explain it.
I did blood tests, blood work, blood culture... name it! Used all sorts of drugs, shampoo, body wash, face wash, face cream... my face towel would not be used beyond two days! My mother was heavily invested in finding the best possible solution.

Everywhere I went, people had prescriptions for me. They assumed it was eczema, some gave it all sort of names. "Use this, use that" and fiam, I don buy. It was so bad that one of my lecturers in prescribed "agbo" for me😩
I was desperate for a solution and off I went to the place in Ilorin.
The woman I was given her contact called it one funny name I refused to commit to memory. She gave me different plants and herbs, some to boil, some to drink and some to rub on my face especially.

I was drained! Physically, mentally, emotionally and financially 😪

Fast forward to 4 years after trying all sorts, I gave up! I stopped everything I was doing/using. I needed my face to breathe!
It wasn't an easy decision to make but I needed to focus my energy on other stuff going on in my life. I diverted my attention towards prayer and communion.

Gradually, I started getting my self-confidence back. I was no longer worried about how my face looked, even though people would still see me and ask out of concern, what I was doing about my face. I cared less.
I got an idea one day and I decided to google and boom, I became a pro at making organic soap😂... Yes, you read that right... organic soap, aloe vera and coconut oil/shea butter became my skincare routine.

I wake up everyday thanking God for our journey! It's sure one for the books.
