Let us stop moderating failed administrations with excuses and political manipulation. Nigeria does not need cosmetic adjustments around bad leadership; we need a system that grows fairly in favour of all citizens, not a privileged few.
The embarrassment surrounding so-called “consensus arrangements” and manipulated primaries has once again exposed the weakness of internal democracy within our political structure. Democracy loses meaning when outcomes are predetermined behind closed doors while the people are merely invited to witness rehearsed conclusions.
Politics should not become a marketplace of crookedness, imposition, betrayal, and selfish survival. Nigeria deserves a unique political culture built on competence, credibility, transparency, and inclusion.
True nation-building demands systems stronger than individuals. Strong institutions, fair participation, accountability, and political sincerity must replace the culture of intimidation, favoritism, and transactional loyalty.
If we truly love Nigeria, then we must speak honestly about the decay within party politics and begin to demand a new political character — one that values integrity above manipulation and collective progress above personal ambition.
Nigeria is too important to be reduced to endless political games.

“Workers Build a Nation” -Abiodun Lasile DL MnbR
A nation does not rise on concrete and steel alone. It rises on the backs, hands, and minds of its workers.
When workers are neglected, the cost is a disaster. Projects stall. Standards fall. Hospitals empty of care, classrooms of knowledge, farms of harvest. Neglect breeds disillusion, and disillusion breaks nations faster than any storm.
But when workers are committed, they become the engine of progress. The teacher who stays late. The engineer who double-checks the beam. The farmer who tends the soil before sunrise. The nurse who works a double shift. Their commitment turns policy into reality and promises into roads, light, and food.
Commitment, however, is not born in a vacuum. It is nurtured by dignity. And dignity begins with fair wages paid on time, safe conditions, and respect for labour. To demand commitment while denying fair reward is to ask a man to build a house and sleep outside it.
So the social contract is clear: *A nation owes its workers respect and just wages. Workers owe their nation skill, integrity, and commitment.* One without the other is disaster. Together, they are nation-building.
As we mark this season, let us remember: the worker is not a tool. The worker is the builder. Pay the builder, protect the builder, and the nation will stand.
Happy Worker's Day and a new month!

My dream is to raise civic literacy among Nigerians so that citizens can confidently engage political leaders, question their track records, and make informed choices at the ballot box—free from manipulation or imposition. I envision a society where voters are thoughtful, informed, and guided by reason, enabling the emergence of credible leaders through the power of the people.
