Our objectives
To assess the mental health needs of individuals and communities through education and research. To partner with related professional groups towards promotion of mental health. To invest in capacity building and training of persons involved in mental health care. To reduce the stigma associated with mental illness through health education. To improve the quality of life of mental health consumers and that of their caregivers.
This project is truly innovative and highly resourceful..I want to appeal to the initiators of this project to stand firm and raise the bar..don't allow the vision to die..
I am happy that this project made us discover our innate gift of compassionate care for mentally challenged..our model was adjudged as one of the best that can take Africa out of the woods...Great minds of HMI. .let's rekindle the flame of selfless community service ..
