In this short piece we will be looking at what branding is.
What is branding:
- Branding is your culture.
- It's your attitude and values.
- It's your beliefs...
..which people see or perceive about you or your business.
For instance, have people ever called you "STRICT"? If so, then, that's your brand.
That's how people see you.
So, your business can have "premium and class" as a brand written on paper but your customers may see you as being too expensive.
What does that mean, you offer less value for a high cost.
So, to maintain your brand, don't reduce your price rather increase your value offering.
Branding is how you see yourself, and how people see you.
You have achieved branding when how you see yourself matches with how people see you.
