Happened in Ndi Uduma Awoke Ohafia
Another set of thieves were apprehended on Friday by the youths and handed over to the vigilante. They specialises in cutting Aluminium roofing zinc/ pan.

They're Confidence Uduma Awa Udo, Joseph Uyo Udo (both from Ndia Mbilaorieoma) and Elisha Olugu Kalu from Nde Echi.

They confessed selling their stolen items to the same Ndubuisi who was caught with stolen fence barb wire and other stolen goods.
He got wind of the information and fled before the vigilante got to him.
Remember that Ndubuisi Uma Ojiaku of Ndi Ettea was sent out of the Community barely 6 weeks ago. He refused and continued with his business.
As we predicted, it was only pronouncement without enforcement!

Men of the Community are home on this matter this morning.

Our question however is, how's possible that a whole community will ban an individual, he remains defiant and everyone including the authorities are cool with it?
Which other community in Ohafia allows that?

ABIA DEPUTY GOVERNOR CHARGES OHAFIA STUDENTS TO SHUN CULTISM, FOCUS ON EDUCATION

Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, has advised students of Ohafia to avoid cultism and other social vices and focus on their academic pursuits.

He gave this advice during a courtesy visit by the National Association of Ohafia Students (NAOS) Worldwide, to his office at Government House Umuahia, the State capital.

The Deputy Governor promised to look into some of the students' demands, including providing bursaries for Ohafia students and a bus for the association. He emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the students to stay focused on their academic goals.

Earlier in his remarks, the NAOS President General, Comr Uma Ukpai Kalu, thanked the Deputy Governor for giving them audience and for his support and guidance, highlighting his commitment to quality education in Abia State. This commitment he noted , is evident in the Dr. Alex Otti-led government's effort to enhance education in Abia State, including retrofitting dilapidated school buildings and providing free education to primary and secondary school students.
He pledged their unalloyed support to the Deputy Governor and the Dr Alex Otti led Government, and expressed their willingness to support programmes and policies that will bring progress in Abia state.

Also speaking, the Director of Administration, Office of the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ezinna Felix Ukwa, encouraged the students to utilize the opportunity of having a brother as Deputy Governor and make good use of any support they receive.

The courtesy call which ended positively, had in attendance government appointees including the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Sir Chukwudi Eke Mba.
