TOPIC: Believing Lifestyles
TEXT: "Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. John 20:27"
Jesus Christ of Nazareth has designed a lifestyle for Christians: this is a lifestyle of continual believing in the Word of God and the work of God.
The apostle Thomas was a man who lived by the principle of the world: the principle which states that seeing is believing. However when he encountered Jesus Christ after his resurrection, he learned to adopt a new principle from Jesus Christ. Jesus taught him that in order to see or materialize the Word of God he must first believe; hence, believing is seeing.
This principle is also designed for us today to live by. We must live a life of continually believing in the Word of God and the work of God if we want to enjoy all the promises of God pertaining to our life.
