2026 Otjiwarongo Bisley

Die Otjiwarongo Skietklub het die afgelope naweek hulle jaarlikse Bisley/F-klas kompetisie aangebied.

Die skiet dissiplines het ingesluit die FTR klas en F-Ope klas. Die skiet program het begin met n 300 meter inskiet waarna die kompetisie toe afgeskop het met 300, 500, 600, 800 en 900 meter rondtes.

Die algehele uitslae per klas is hieronder opgesom, tellings is uit n moontlike 250 punte met 50 V-kolle (250.50).

2026 F-Class season kicks off with Transkalahari West Champs

The 2026 F-Class season of the NRA started with the past weekend's Transkalahari West Champs. The competition took place at the Gamsberg range outside Windhoek where shooters battled it out for the top spots.

The shooting disciplines included only the FTR class. The shooting program started off with n 300m sight-in round after which the counting rounds kicked off with 2x 300m, 1x 500m and 2x 600m rounds.

The overall results of the competition is summarized below. Results are out of a possible score of 225 and 45 V-Bulls (225.45):

2025 Gamsberg Farmers Association Shoot

The NRA hosted a recreational F-Class shoot at the past weekend's Gamsberg Farmers Association Day.

The shoot allowed a variety of calibers, and restrictions were kept to a minimum to include shooters from different disciplines.

The program consisted of 1 x 400m round with 2 sight-in shots and 5 to count.

A total of 29 entries were logged for the day, top 3 results for adults as well as under 18's are summarized below. Results are out of a possible 25 points and 5 V-Bulls (25.5)

1st - Ilana Malan - 24.2
2nd - Henning Du Toit - 24.1
3rd - Adele Cranz - 23.0

U/18's

1st - Wiann Mans Jnr. - 25.0
2nd - Conrad Du Toit - 24.1

Ilana Malan received the trophy for "Long Range Legend" and Wiann Mans Jnr the trophy for "Trigger Master" from the Gamsberg Farmers Association.

2024 Nasionale Bisley Kampioenskappe

Die Otjiwarongo skietklub het die afgelope naweek die NRA se jaarlikse Nasionale Bisley Kampioenskappe gehuisves by die Gallary Range net buite Otjiwarongo. Die kampioenskappe het op Vrydag 8 November en Saterdag 9 November 2024 plaasgevind.

Die skiet dissiplines het ingesluit die FTR klas, F-Ope klas en TR klas. Die skiet program het die Vrydag begin met n 300 meter inskiet waarna die amptelike kompetisie begin het met 1 x 300, 500, 600, 800 en 900 meter rondtes om die eerste dag se totaal op te maak. Op die tweede dag was die program van Vrydag herhaal om n algehele groot totaal op te maak. Die groot totaal vir die kampioenskappe was uit 'n moontlike 565 punte en 113 V-Kolle.
