This past Saturday, we had the privilege of attending the Polaris Football Club’s prize-giving event, marking the close of an inspiring soccer season.

This past Friday, our "Fridays under the Tree" session brought both deep insights and a perfect winter treat to the team.

​Our Head of Finance, Josh Weyand, took us under the branches on a crisp morning to share a famous leadership story about a simple test used during job interviews by legends like Henry Ford.

​The test? Taking a candidate out to lunch and watching how they treated their food when it arrived. If the candidate immediately shook salt and pepper onto the meal before tasting it, the interview was quietly over.

​Why? Because seasoning food without tasting it first suggests:
▪️ Making assumptions instead of observations
▪️ Choosing routine habit over thoughtfulness
▪️ Acting before gathering all the information

​But the candidates who paused, tasted the meal, and then decided what it needed? Those were the thoughtful decision-makers. It was a powerful reminder for all of us at MSTI to pause, gather the facts, and avoid assumptions in our daily work.

​To make a cold morning even better, the team wrapped up the session with delicious packets of hot chocolate.

Congratulations to The Bataleurs on claiming the prestigious Kloot Cup for 2026! Our runners up, The Ospreys, also received a little something.

We are incredibly proud to be out at the Windhoek Country Club sponsoring the prestigious Senior Golfers Society (Kloot Cup) Golf Day.

This special day carries a rich legacy, named in honour of the late Charles Kloot, a WWII veteran, true pioneer of Namibian golf, and the founder President of The Society of Senior Golfers in Namibia. From the rough, stony "sand greens" of Windhoek’s very first golf course back in 1916 to the pristine fairways we play on today, golf in Namibia has always been about camaraderie, discipline, and a deep love for the game.

That timeless spirit is alive and well on the course today as two legendary senior teams go head-to-head. The field is split, the energy is high, and the rivalry is real:
Team Red: The Ospreys
Team Blue: The Bataleurs
