This year didn’t exactly start off on the best note, but slowly things are getting back to normal — even with a broken ankle in the mix.

There’s no better way to find that rhythm again than getting back into design. Creating for my work and for my own space reminds me why I love what I do — a place where my creativity has no limits and every new idea is always welcome.

My beautiful design is officially on the wall! 🎉

You can find this mural on the corner of Kormoran Street & Albatros Street in Swakopmund — and I still can’t stop doing a little happy dance over it! 💃

If you happen to pass by and see it, please take a selfie with the mural and send it to me! I would absolutely love to see it. I can guarantee the happy dancing will continue all day when those selfies start coming in… even with a broken ankle! 😅

Maybe this is exactly the kind of joy I needed today.

My second design is going BIG… like “blink and you’ll miss it” BIG! 🎨✨
Soon this artwork will be towering over Swakopmund on a massive board, soaking up the ocean air, sunsets, and maybe a few curious seagull critiques 🐦🌅

I cannot wait to see it printed and standing proud in the place that inspired every line and color. If you spot it around town, send me a pic… I’ll be doing a happy dance wherever I am! 💛

✨ Pet Project for 2026 ✨

I have always had a soft spot for the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund — the ocean breeze, the desert meeting the sea, and those unforgettable landmarks that make it feel like a postcard come to life. 🌊🏜️

When my best friend asked me to design a wall mural inspired by this special place, saying YES was the easiest decision ever. Creating this piece felt like bottling up all the charm, memories, and character of Swakopmund and splashing it across a wall. 🎨

Here is the design I came up with, featuring the well-known places that make Swakopmund so iconic. I cannot wait to see it come to life! 💛
