We recently celebrated Milandra's 2nd birthday with the cutest little confetti, balloons, and doughnuts-themed studio session, and what a fun afternoon it was!

Little Milandra is an absolute firecracker — full of personality, curiosity, and the sweetest expressions. She kept us entertained throughout the session and embraced all the birthday fun with her own unique charm.

The Tripodi family are certainly not strangers in front of my lens, and it is always such a pleasure to capture another milestone in their family's story. One of my favourite parts of photography is watching little ones grow from one session to the next, and Milandra is no exception.

Between the colorful confetti, delicious doughnuts, and plenty of smiles, we captured some beautiful memories to celebrate turning two.

One of the little perks of being a photographer and having access to a studio is that every now and then, I get to make use of my own services too.

We recently did the sweetest little birthday session for my 2nd born fiery and spirited redhead warrior princess who is about to turn 4 years old. This little firecracker has truly been such a joy, turning our world upside down in the very best way possible and constantly keeping all of us on our toes.

Although she can sometimes be a little shy at first, once she warms up to you, she becomes the biggest little chatterbox with the sweetest personality. Her laughter, strong will, and vibrant spirit make every day an adventure.

Some of you may know that I am also a full-time working mommy of four, and while photography is something I absolutely love, making time for family and creating memories with my own little people will always mean just as much to me. Sometimes the photographer deserves to step into the memories too.

It has been quite some time since the lovely Anderson family has been in front of my lens, and what a joy it was catching up with them again.

Lomè's boys, Norman and Divan, have grown so much since I last photographed them, and once they warmed up to me, their personalities truly came shining through. Before long, both boys had decided that they were now the official creative directors of the shoot, taking turns giving posing instructions and directing Mom and Dad exactly where to stand.

I must say… Mom and Dad listened very well! I think we may just have some mini movie directors in the making.

Sessions like these are always such a reminder that the best family photos often come from the laughter, playful chaos, and candid little moments in between.

The Maasdorp family are certainly no strangers in front of my lens, and every session with them is always filled with so much laughter, love, and genuine joy.

Our journey together started with little Leigh-Anne’s adorable ice-cream themed smash cake session, and it has been such a privilege capturing these beautiful family milestones ever since. This time around, the family took advantage of the Mother’s Day special, giving us another opportunity to freeze some precious memories in time.

As always, there were plenty of giggles, playful moments, and sweet interactions throughout the session especially between daddy and his little girl. Those candid little moments always end up being some of my favourites to capture.

And on an even sweeter note, it’s actually Lisaan and Cameron’s 9th wedding anniversary today, and they still look just as in love as they did on the day they said “I do.”

We recently did the sweetest little mini family studio session with the lovely Sutherland family, and what a joyful session it was.

Little Emma brought all the energy, giggles, and silly vibes to the studio, keeping everyone smiling from start to finish. These are often the moments that make for the most beautiful memories, the playful in-between moments, the laughter, and all the little expressions that show off a child’s personality so perfectly.

And to make the session even more special, Ouma also got some special lens time with little Emma, a reminder of just how precious it is to capture the generations together.

Celebrating little Iscah’s "Fairy First" Birthday was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by soft fairy wonder and all the sweetness that comes with turning one, this session was filled with smiles, laughter, and the cutest little moments.

The Stroh family are certainly no strangers in front of my lens, and it is always such a joy capturing another chapter of their story. Little Iscah was definitely the star of the show. Her smiles and giggles were absolutely infectious and had everyone laughing and dancing along with her.

And one thing is for sure..… this little lady is definitely a "foodie", just like her aunty Kirstin! Every single bite of her birthday cake toppings seemed like absolute heaven, and she fully embraced every sweet moment of her smash cake session.

Celebrating 6 wonderful months of Olivia, a sweet little soul absolutely full of smiles and the cutest personality.

We captured this special milestone with a quick little studio session, freezing these precious moments in time before she grows even more. It’s always amazing how quickly these tiny humans change in just a few short months.

A shoutout to Jolene's husband, Mot, who travelled from far to make it in time for the shoot, and I’m so glad he did. These moments are always worth capturing together as a family.

All the excitement, giggles, and smiles during the session were clearly very tiring because little Olivia eventually fell fast asleep — the sweetest ending to a beautiful shoot.
