Myth #1: Money is the root of all evil.
Correction: The bible in 1 Timothy 6:10 says, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs". This means that you have forgotten about God and have basically made money your god.
Here is what God says about wealth when haven't made money your god. Deuteronomy8:18 "You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day". Proverbs 13:11 "Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow".
You can refer to more text in the bible about money, God doesn't want you to be poor. Hence the creation of such a goldmine and divinity.
