Accounting Officer (Fixed-Term Contract)

This role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial management activities of MSR. The incumbent ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with donor and organizational requirements. The role nurtures relationships with key stakeholders such as creditors, vendors, auditors, and Board of Directors to promote sound financial practices and ensure the organisation's financial sustainability.

📋 Requirements: Grade 12 certificate, bachelor's degree in accounting / finance/ similar field, minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role (preferably non-profit sector), experience with financial audits, proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, Sage), proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel), English and Afrikaans.
