We were delighted to welcome a delegation from Tanzania’s Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) for a benchmarking and stakeholder engagement visit.
Through meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange, both institutions shared insights, explored best practices, and strengthened regional collaboration in support of effective regulation and sustainable energy development.

Today, the Electricity Control Board (ECB) bid farewell to its outgoing Board Chairperson, Ms. Evangelina Nailenge, marking the end of a remarkable decade of service and leadership.
During a farewell gathering at the ECB House, Ms. Nailenge expressed her gratitude to the Board, management, and staff for their dedication and commitment in advancing the ECB’s mandate. She commended the collective efforts that have helped position the ECB among Namibia’s best-governed State-Owned Enterprises.
For the past 10 years, Ms. Nailenge has provided strategic leadership and oversight, contributing significantly to the growth and development of Namibia’s electricity sector.
The ECB extends its heartfelt appreciation for her outstanding service, guidance, and invaluable contribution to the organisation. We wish her continued success in all her future endeavours.

Requirements:
LLB Degree (NQF 7)
Minimum 5 years’ legal experience
Knowledge of energy, commercial, labour & administrative law
Admission as a Legal Practitioner and energy industry experience will be an added advantage.
