ORN was found by the LGBTI community to Advocate for constitutional rights for LGBTI, MSM and WSW people in Namibia Creating an enabling environment.

Out-Right Namibia (ORN) came out of the Rainbow Project (TRP). TRP was the community’s response to homophobic statements emanating from high echelons of government after independence. The organization utilized grassroots to counter increased levels of stigma, discrimination and violence– including state agents e.g. police strip searching and ripping of citizen’s earrings.
