Engineering is about more than infrastructure — it’s about impact.

Every project is an opportunity to do things right, create lasting value, and improve lives.

Driven by purpose. Defined by excellence.

There’s something rewarding about seeing infrastructure come to life — especially in remote areas where it directly improves public health and service delivery.
Good progress on this Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) project (Lithon with UrbanGreen – Brand van Zyl), with major civil works now well underway. From excavation and structural works to preparing for treatment units, it’s great to see the journey from drawings to reality taking shape.
Well done to the entire team on site 👏

Can you guess the distance?
This controlled blast forms part of ongoing construction on a new road project—an impressive reminder of the precision and planning behind infrastructure development.

Blast Challenge:
How far (in meters) do you think the videographer was positioned from the blast?
The person with the closest guess will win an exclusive opportunity to visit the site and meet the engineer behind the project.
Drop your guess in the comments (before 26 May 2026 at 5pm Windhoek time).

Across Namibia’s coastline, critical infrastructure is being put to the test.

The Namport Conditions Survey is a 5-year initiative led by Lithon Project Consultants, covering the Port of Walvis Bay, Syncrolift, and the Port of Lüderitz. Through detailed inspections and the use of the STRUMAN system and DER rating methodology, the team captures key data on structural condition and environmental impact, including exposure to harsh ocean and desert elements.

This ongoing assessment supports smarter, data-driven maintenance and long-term planning.

Helping ensure Namibia’s ports remain resilient, efficient, and future-ready.
