Today, our Executive Chairman Sven Thieme cut the ribbon at the official naming of OL Haus, marking a new chapter for our iconic Independence Avenue landmark, which we have held since 1929.

Formerly known as Carl List Haus and Carl List Mall, this renaming is a key component of our brand reinvention unveiled last night: One OL, One Persona, One Future.

Our power, our planet. Marking Earth Day 2026

Earth Day 2026 carries a clear message. The built environment has a vital role to play in shaping a sustainable future. At Broll Namibia, that responsibility is embedded in how we manage, maintain and optimise every property we oversee.

At Wernhil, our solar journey began in 2019 with a 1.13 MWp rooftop PV plant, followed in 2022 by a 990 kWp carport solar system. Together they are capable of producing over 2.1 million kWh annually and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2 100 tons per year. These installations represent a meaningful shift towards renewable energy in a high-use urban retail environment.

Beyond infrastructure, sustainability at Broll means responsible resource use, tenant awareness and long-term operational efficiency across our entire portfolio.

We remain committed to managing spaces that serve people and our planet. Because practical, continuous and responsible improvement is how real change is built.
