A two-week sign language training is currently underway in Windhoek, supported by the and the , to strengthen inclusive communication and service delivery for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, especially survivors of gender-based violence.

The training, conducted by the CSO Response Action-Based Organisation, brings together Khomas Region police officers and social workers from the Ministry of Health and Social Services. The Level 2 training focuses on strengthening practical communication skills to ensure effective interaction with persons who are deaf or hard of hearing in service delivery settings.

UNFPA in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Namibia and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare (MGECW) has launched a 10-day Training of Trainers (ToT) in Swakopmund focused on the Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting (GRPB) curriculum.

His research, "Phenomenological Exploration of Psychosocial Challenges in Emerging Adult Males: Absent Father and Emerging Adulthood in Khorixas," is an eye-opener. It highlights the real struggles associated with father absence and the need for stronger family support, positive role models, and accessible mental health services.

Today, stakeholders gathered to validate the draft National Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Strategic Plan (2027/28–2031/2032). UNFPA Namibia provided technical assistance in the development of the plan through the availability of experts assisting the government to strengthen vital statistics.
