This dog is roaming around the avis dam an alone since Tuesday.

Committee members of Greenspace management were welcomed by the City of Windhoek Mayor, Councillor Sakarias Uunona and some of his Executive team this morning.

Dear Greenspace members and Avis Dam visitors,

LOST DOG: Please help us find this little lost dog at the Avis Dam (see photo), last seen near the water reservoir in Ludwigsdorf on Sunday evening. If you have any information, please phone Jantje immediately at 0811433311.
BABOONS: It can happen that while walking at the dam you are confronted by a group of baboons who may try to threaten you with their loud warning calls. This can be rather frightening, and we advise you to quickly move away from them with your dogs. Do not try to wave a stick or throw stones at them as it can make them more aggressive. Baboons have been living at the dam for thousands of years; it is their home, so please respect their space.
