✨ 𝗛𝗶, 𝗜'𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝘆❣️ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆!🐾🧡

I’m an American Pitbull, and I have a family who loves me. ❤️

On Tuesday, they brought me to Snout Project's Spay Day to be sterilised.

Pitbulls are a popular breed to breed for extra income, and my family could have chosen that path too.
But instead — 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝘁. 🐾🐾

They couldn’t afford a private vet, so they reached out for help. 🧡

I may not understand what happened that day, but I know this:
𝗠𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗲, 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗲. 🎉💖

And because I was sterilised, there won’t be unwanted puppies born into a world where 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. 😊

I walked into Spay Day held by love — and walked out with a future shaped by care. 🐾🧡

Dorian had a really tough start in life. 😔 Rescued with his four siblings, all were sick and suffering from severe eye infections. 💔

With lots of love, care and determination from Triglav Trust, little Dorian survived. He carries the scars of what he went through, but they certainly haven't taken away his sparkle. 💫

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻… 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝘁! 😻

He is the most lovable little kitten, absolutely thriving on cuddles, attention and being close to his people. 🥰

With his adorable looks and unique personality, Dorian is the kind of kitten who completely steals your heart and makes you smile. 🧡

Because prevention is the most powerful form of rescue‼️

Every Spay Day with the Mobile Animal Clinic - Namibia means 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 — and that means fewer animals ending up abandoned, on the streets, in overcrowded rescue systems or simply struggling to survive. 😔

For us, Spay Days are 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - stopping countless future kittens and puppies from being born into suffering. 🐾

✨ 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 - 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗡𝗥 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀! 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀❣️🧡

Echo was trapped by a dedicated TNR team at one of the most horrible and dangerous places imaginable—a place where unsterilised, abandoned or lost cats multiply and struggle to survive. 💔

Over many months, these incredible volunteers trapped, sterilised and returned the cats, built shelters and continue to feed them—all in the little spare time they have. 🐾🧡

𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 - 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙠❣️

But Echo was different. She was sick, frightened, shy and extremely defensive. She could not simply be returned in that condition. If she had been put back, she would have suffered and slowly died. 🐾

Echo needed medical care, a foster home and a chance—or, if neither could be found, euthanasia would have been the only humane alternative. 💔

Thankfully, Echo was given a chance!

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘄.🥹🧡

Healthy, beautiful and confident.
And the best of all, Echo has been adopted! 🏡
She is now loved, safe and living with a family where she can simply be herself. 🐾

It takes a special kind of family to choose an adult cat and that became very clear in our home visit when we met this wonderful family! 💖

One of our adult girls has finally been booked for adoption after spending more than a year in foster care with Triglav Trust afted they rescued her and her kittens from the street. 🐾

She was a tame cat who must have either gotten lost unsterilised or been abandoned unsterilised.
She ended up on the streets where she had kittens and had to survive with them. 😔

All her kittens found loving homes once they reached 8 weeks of age, but their beautiful mom had to wait much longer. 🥺

We are so excited that her long wait is finally over.
𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🏡🐾🧡

🌸 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀... 🐾

The rescue teams are receiving calls about kittens in need, while our foster homes remain full with kittens still waiting for adoption. 😩

There simply 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 to keep dealing with the consequences of unsterilised cats! 😢

🐱 Don't wait until there are kittens. Prevent the kittens.
