A big thank you to Bertie and the entire Silverwind crew for acting swiftly to rescue these seals tangled in discarded fishing nets today. Sadly, one seal had already passed away, but the team managed to free the others safely and remove the harmful fishing line from the ocean.

A rare and special sighting today!

We were lucky enough to encounter a leucistic Heaviside’s dolphin - an unusually pale (almost white) variation of this normally dark grey species.

Leucism is a natural condition that causes partial loss of pigmentation, giving the dolphin its lighter appearance - while still maintaining normal eye colour (unlike albinism).
