Oryx (Gemsbok) are social antelope that live in herds that include male, female and young.

After the wonderful rains received in the South recently, the grass is green and the air is crisp. Just beautiful!

The Pale Chanting Goshawk (juvenile in picture) is a versatile hunter that will chase after prey on foot or in flight. Nicknamed the "Pirates of the Kalahari" for their opportunistic hunting behaviors by using other mammals to flush out prey.

It seems, according to those who know, the Zebra is actually predominantly black with white stripes appearing where pigment cells fail to develop. Still makes you wonder though?
