TOPIC:
THE EXCHANGES AT CALVARY

SCRIPTURE:
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8: 16-17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
At the Cross of Calvary, Jesus took away our sicknesses and diseases.

It has been established that the Cross of Calvary is the final straw that broke the back of the devil and the gates of hell. At the Cross of Calvary, many changes or exchanges happened.

Now, let us see examples of the exchange or exchanges that took place at the Cross of Calvary:
i) At the Cross of Calvary, Christ took our sins and gave us His Righteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says,
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
He took our sin and exchanged or replaced it with His Righteousness at the Cross of Calvary.

ii) At the Cross of Calvary, Christ took our sickness and gave us His health
The second exchange that took place at the Cross of Calvary is, Christ took our sickness and gave us His health.
This is why Isaiah 53:4-5 says,
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

At the Cross of Calvary, Jesus took away our sicknesses and diseases (Matthew 8:16,17)
So, at the Cross of Calvary, there was an exchange – Christ took our sickness and weakness and gave us His health, strength and vitality.
Remember this: At the Cross of Calvary, Jesus took away our sicknesses and diseases.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make demands on God to maximize the full benefits of exchanges at the Cross of Calvary.
2. Believe what God has done for you on the Cross of Calvary.

PRAYER:
Thank You Lord for what You did for me at the Cross of Calvary.
I make demands on You for the impartation of Your sinless and sickless life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

V 17-19. ''But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, ''Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, ''and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.''
- Going far from God seems nice because the pleasure is immediate. It appears like one is enjoying life but the consequences are terrible.
- When the Devil is about to destroy a life of a child of God, he will first remove him/her from God's presence (house). Secondly he will break his/her fellowship with brothers and sisters from church. At last he will give him/her worldly friends. These happened to the prodigal son.
- ''The thief does not come except to steal and to kill, and to destroy.'' John 10:10 a. The Devil never give to bless but to prepare for a disaster.
''Beloved, time is given to everyone to come back before it is late. The Father is waiting, ready to welcome and forgive you. The prodigal son said ''I will rise and go to my father...'' - The Devil is the serpent who is still coming today to steal, to kill and to destroy your destiny, your projects and your peace.
John 10:10.
- Trying to kill a snake with a small stick or a weak weapon will attract trouble in your life. Your will risk to be bitten and killed.
- Being cunning, the snake can enter a place without being noticed. It can enter a family, a business and a relationship without people noticing.
- The only powerful weapon able to destroy the work of the serpent is ''the name of Jesus Christ''. It has also the power to neutralized any dangerous venom left in your body.
- Jesus Christ received the name above all the names in heaven, on earth and under the earth that at the call of His name every knee shall bow including the one of the Devil.
- Like the bronze snake lifted on the pole in the dessert by Moses to cure those who were bitten by snakes so the Son of Man Jesus Christ was lifted on the cross to heal and cure those who are dying.
''No matter how a snake can hide, one thing is true, it cannot cope with the heat. As long as your spiritual life may be cold or cool snakes will be comfortable. Weekend Message at Okakarara: ''2019 THE YEAR OF PARADIGM SHIFT.''
Whenever God wanted to do great things on earth, He used in unusual ways His servants to fulfill His will. He broke laws and principles to fulfill His will.
- With Sarah, God broke the law of menopause to give her Isaac.
- With Esther, God broke the law of the king palace to save all Israelite.
- With the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus Christ broke the law of the pool of Bethesda and the law of Sabbath in order to heal Him.
- With Mary, God broke the law of nature and flesh and established the law of the Spirit in order for her to conceive Jesus Christ.
- At the wedding of Cana, Jesus Christ broke the law of chemistry to make wine out of water.
- At the tomb of Lazarus Jesus Christ broke the law of biology and resurrected Lazarus fresh.
"No matter which law that stand against your life and your success this year, it shall be broken for God's favor to locate you. The unusual will happen for your sake.''

Today's message: ''MELCHIZEDEK, KING OF SALEM THE TRUE PARADIGM SHIFT.''
Hebrews 7: 1-10.
Vs 3 ''Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.''
Hebrews 7 presents Melchizedek King of Salem as the Son of God Jesus Christ.
- No wonder the bible says in John 1: 1. ''In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.''
- Jesus Christ is the true paradigm shift for humanity. As from His conception, the law of nature was broken. which law expected ''a man toro sleep with a woman to have a child.'' He was conceived not by the law of flesh, nor of nature but by the law of the Spirit.'' The angel answered Mary and said: ''The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you;''
The law of the Spirit changes the impossible to possible, the never to ever, the barren ground to fertile one.
- It is known that the birth of a child is announced by the family members or relatives. But as for Jesus Christ birth, angels from heaven were the ones announcing and heavenly hosts celebrated.
- During His life on earth, he broke the law of chemistry to produce wine just from water at the wedding of Cana.
He broke the law of Sabath to heal many sicks people.
He broke the law of biology to bring back to life a decomposed Lazarus. To the dead daughter of Jairus He said ''little girl arise.'' And to the son of the widow of Nain He said ''young man, I say to you arise.''
''Beloved, Jesus Christ is the paradigm shift, He changes existing principles and laws to operate miracles in the life of His people. He is able to bring paradigm shift this year in your life. Today's message: ''Faith which brings Paradigm Shift.''
Hebrews 11: 1; 6. ''Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.''
''But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.''
- For one to experience paradigm shift this year, he/she need to believe that God is able and capable to change his/her situation in 2019.
- Faith is the key to assess paradigm shift in life this year.
- David needed faith to fight Goliath. At the look of reality, He could not even try such battle because everyone was running away. But David understood that he was not Mr. everyone, he realized that he had a Great God in Him. A God greater, taller and powerful than Goliath.
- Ruth had to have faith in the God of Naomie before she experienced the paradigm shift in her life. Her who was a Moabite became the grand mother of David and Jesus Christ.
- Esther had faith in the Living God by exposing her life to the risk of death by entering the king's court without being invited. That act of faith brought paradigm shift to her and all Israelite. It is good to have faith but the act of faith speak the most.

Today's message: "Laws and principles set against your life this year shall be broken."
Daniel 3: 1-18, 22-25; 29-30.
- Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were targeted by a law or decree whereby everyone had to worship king Nebuchadnezzar's idol. And the punishment to the rebels was death in fire.
- These three young men broke the law of the king to please God. And God broke the law of nature (fire) to protect them.
- At the end the king proclaimed another law in favor not of his idol but in favor of the God of Sadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego. And they were promoted.
- Remain on the side of God this year no matter what.
- A law was declared by Pharaoh to kill all male babies from Hebrews women. As the Devil could feel that the deliverer Moses was on the way.
- That law killed many males babies except the targeted one Moses. Instead, her mother was given a monthly salary in order to nurse him.
- Any law which will intend to destroy you, will bless you this year. The place you will fell after your rejection, you will meet Jesus Christ there.
Beloved, there are laws set against you in spiritual realm and where you are living. Let me tell you that they will be broken. You only need to be close to God and He will take care of whatever set against you. Break the law of the Devil by disobeying him and God will break the law of nature for your good.
