We are proud to continue working with partners who trust Mozambikes mission and understand the impact mobility can have in rural communities.

These bicycles will continue to be distributed to Higest chicken farmers and producers, helping make daily transport easier, supporting productivity, and adding value across the entire production chain. It is also a way of recognizing and thanking the people whose work keeps these operations moving every day.

🌍 Fernando Ribeiro is already on his journey through South America, and is now passing through Bogotá, Colombia, where he had an inspiring experience: every Sunday, about 140 km of streets are closed so that people can cycle, run, and experience the city in a different way.🚲

A reality that shows how bicycles can transform people’s relationship with mobility, freedom, and community.

But while in some places bicycles represent a lifestyle, in many communities they continue to represent access to education, safety, and opportunity.

That is the mission driving this journey.

Throughout this expedition, Fernando is also cycling with a greater purpose: to help raise funds to provide 100 bicycles that can transform the lives of children who travel long distances every day just to get to school.

Because, for many of them, a bicycle can be the difference between giving up or continuing to dream.

Sabias que hoje é o Dia Mundial da Bicicleta?

Em parceria com a Mozambikes , temos o orgulho de apoiar um projecto que aproxima mais crianças do seu direito à educação e de um futuro com mais oportunidades.

Nas zonas rurais de Moçambique, muitos alunos percorrem diariamente entre 8 e 15 km a pé para chegar à escola, o que compromete a assiduidade, a concentração e a continuidade dos estudos.

Para ajudar a mudar esta realidade, nasceu o projecto Bicicletas para a Educação, em Manjacaze, Cambine e Boane, garantindo aos estudantes abrangidos acesso a bicicletas e formação em segurança rodoviária, para que possam chegar à escola em menos tempo e com mais segurança, com impacto positivo na frequência escolar e na motivação para aprender.

💚 We welcomed Eugídio Gobo from Associação do Sistema de Monitoria Orientada para Gestão-ASMOG to the Mozambikes factory for a discussion and presentation of initiatives related to the socioeconomic empowerment of communities.🚲

During the meeting, we discussed various possibilities for collaboration in areas such as Bike Negocio, Bike Taxi, and adapted bicycle solutions with box and colman racks, designed to support agricultural and fishing activities.

The vision is to create sustainable income-generating opportunities in communities in the provinces of Gaza, Cabo Delgado, and Niassa, using mobility as a practical tool for local development.

Moments like this reinforce the importance of partnerships and the joint development of solutions tailored to the realities of communities.

🔥 FERNANDO WAITED 20 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT🚲

A dream more than 20 years in the making, transformed into a journey with a purpose.

Fernando Ribeiro, a Portuguese engineer and researcher, is about to start his adventure and cycle across the Andes Mountains, an expedition that goes far beyond mere adventure.

By partnering with Mozambikes on this trip, Fernando aims to help raise awareness of the impact that mobility can have on the lives of many children, supporting initiatives related to education, access to opportunities, and social development.

Throughout this journey, every kilometer cycled will also carry stories, challenges, and a greater purpose: to show how a bicycle can bring people closer to a better future.

Every climb, every kilometer, and every challenge along the way will carry a greater purpose.

WE WILL SHARE HIS JOURNEY HERE FOR ONE YEAR AND HOPE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR AT LEAST 100 BICYCLES. 🌍
