for the daylight version of this, we lose a bit of that creamy light source that was added in the overcast, so here the most important thing is to let the vegetation shine, but never outshine our main building, so in post production we boosted a bit the indirect light of the main building so that your eyes don't wander too much. In this case we changed the vegetation color in post too, we find it much faster to work like this rather than change the individual vegetation models.

Our spotlight of the day, is the overcast version of the entrance of our new tourist central park.
The framing was done using the vegetation and some 3D tricks to create a sense of depth in the image, the fog was added using a Zdepth channel in post production. Here at Polyroots we like to add people in 3D and in photoshop this process allows us to get the scale and lighting correct in the raw render, and color correction and shadows added in post production.

With 3D photomontage you can insert your building into any environment, and then use some techniques to blend the 3D building with the surroundings. You might want to watch out for the sharpness difference and blur out the edges, match the perspective, match the colors and luminance and many more. We can use this skill to show the impact the building will have in the site and can mostly be done in 3D before construction actually begins, it is a fun process of altering reality that we like to perform here at Polyroots
