Introduction of STML GO GREEN
Symposium on Technology Management & Logistics that was formerly known as SIPTIK has been organised successfully for seven consecutive semesters since 2011. Started from 2015, this symposium will be organised annually instead of biannually, and rebranded as STML Go Green. STML Go Green, as the past events, still play its original roles to provide a platform for Project Paper presentation that is compulsory for all final semester students from the under-graduate programme of Technology Management.
Since this symposium has been upgraded to become an annual event of STML, participation is now officially opens to all final semester students from technology management, operations management and logistics and transportation programmes. For the first time ever, this symposium also opens to all post-graduate students in STML to present the progress of their studies and/or papers to fulfil the requirement of the post-graduate programme. Besides that, students from other high-learning institutions located in northern region of Malaysia also invited to this symposium.
Through collaboration with the CUIC UUM, STML Go Green also invites the industries to participate in the exhibition, and other activities during the event. As such, this symposium promotes STML to the industries and local societies for future collaboration. Lastly, STML Go Green also works together with the official journal of STML (JTOM) for publication of the post-graduate students’ research papers who participated in this symposium. This will assist JTOM to achieve its target and improve the quality.
