In all truthfulness, at the 11th hour we found out that my M2C front brakes have cracks in them. Instead of wasting the track slot i decide to stick to the spirit of and took the RX350 for a go 😂

After last week's trackday i'm finally happy with how the car is behaving/driving. Of course it's not 100% but is as good as it can get for now.

We are gonna be closing the chassis tuning chapter for now and see what we can get from all the hardwork we put in for the past few months.

I learned alot throughout the process and couldn't have done it without the help of .motorsport

You know you have some sick/extra friends (both mentally and skills) when you ask for a simple headphone mount but instead they design/make something like this for you.

out did themselves again! Glad to have friends/partners like this!

Teamwork makes the dream work

Finally after 3 months (with a few bad weathered trackdays/testing hence the 3 months) we are getting very close to finalising the setup of the car

Last sunday was one of the best test days we had. The car is definitely slowly shaping up to how i want it to drive/behave even thou it's on very old and worn out tyres

Can't thank enough for helping us out for the past 3 months. Learned alot from him and still got so much to learn. Also not forgetting the guys from .motorsport .soo.146 for all my other track related items from tuning, parts, brakes and etc. Couldn't have done without you guys

Throwback to last weeks very wet trackday

So this is the other part of the story.

Yes i have taken over the ever famous and capable BMW M2 Competion from which he has put so much effort and time into it. This car is capable of doing 2.20s and we are 2 seconds off that unfortunately. Hats off to and his team!

Hence why on my previous post i said "it was a bitter sweet night" The sweet part was definitely being listed in the Malaysia Book of Records but the part we are 2 seconds off the best time of the car is definitely the bitter part of the story.

Short story was, i just couldn't drive the car they way i want it to drive despite having an alignment guy with us throughout the night. On top of that i was also struggling to stop the car. So 2.22.0 was the best i could have done that night.

The tune/power of the car is definitely not an issue. But the handling and brakes are. They are not suited to my driving style (nothing against the previous driver/team) so we definitely have to start from 0/reset and work our way up.

So, we will definitely come back stronger in the days to come! Watch this space!

Yesterdays trackday was a bitter sweet night. We may not have hit the the goal/timing we set for ourselves (more on that in another post), but i got myself into the Malaysia Book of Records!

Ever since i was a kid i was always fasnicated by the Malaysia Book of Records. The record that strike and stayed with me the most was Datuk M.Magendran being the first ever Malaysian to climb mount Everst. I thought it was sooo cool and as a kid i was alresdy thinking of ways to try to get myself in it.

Fast foward 26 years later who knew i would be able to get myself in the record books my doing what i really love. If iam being honest it's almost like a mini dream come true.

Wouldn't have been able do it without the support of my family, friends and partners. So i tip my hat to the people from .motorsport .soo.146 for helping me achieve this little dream of mine since i was a kid.

p/s, I will get the name changed next week 😂

Decided to make my the local competition car look all nice and pretty

Unfortunately i kinda wrecked the front bumper from last weekends competition. So kinda only got this photo for now. Will show more once we fix the front bumper up!

Worked with the guys from again to upgrade my sim racing rig!

Previously i was on a single 49" ultrawide monitor which was held on to the driving rig. Now it's a triple 32" monitor stand separated from the driving rig. The PC is also currently sitting behind the driving rig on the monitor stand.

I have to admit i was very particular with how i wanted my sim rig to be and the guys from Tedco Racing clearly outdid themselves. The ingenuity, engineering and quality is second to none.

Everything you see here is completely build and enginnered from scratch by the guys from Tedco Racing!

Couldn't be happier with what the guys from Tedco Racing did. We still have a few more smaller things here and there that still is pending and can't wait for the end results!

My helmet was in pretty bad shape with crazy amount of small/deep scracthes before sending it in to Ollie's Race Shop] for refurbishment (i'm pretty tall dude and my head/helmets keeps banging into roll cage in cars)

Honestly i didn't expect much cause the scratches were quite bad. But when Oliver delivered it to me i was genuine shock at how almost brand new it looked.
