Many parents think that there can still be more time or opportunities to accompany their children and give themselves an excuse to do their own things instead of focusing on their child. There are also parents that “accompany” their children by checking at their phone intently instead of truly interacting with them. Time is precious, and it’s impossible to turn back time. As time goes by, our child will eventually feel the lack of our attention and companionship with them. Our children only grow up once, and that is when they need your love the most. Our attention and companionship for them is the best gift they’ll ever get. So, let us ask ourself, if not now, then when?
