DACH Statue Restoration

Nativity set restoration in December, 2021. An old miniature set. The angel's wings were broken and the child Jesus' hands too. The repairing of the broken pieces went well. The stable was constructed using cardboards pieces and sprayed paint. A simple hand crafted crib for a classic nativity set.

Our Lady of Lourdes statue... Completed and ready for Christmas. A beautiful and detailed statue made in Vietnam. The original colours were fading out, had to paint the whole statue. Now our Lady is radiantly sweet.

Sweet angel reading figurine. My own decorative display on my work table. Originally in white then I decided to paint it for a different look. Lovely and cute!

An old beautiful statue of Our Lady with Child Jesus. The surface of the statue suffered lots of scratches and holes. It was a delicate situation in handling the surface of the plaster. Managed to do all the filling up and smoothening. Now after restoration, the statue looks refreshed and radiant.

Restoring the statues of Our Lady. The two statues are going through final finishing touches. Lastly placing back the Infant Jesus into Mary's hands. Then another new Our Lady statue waiting to be painted. Dearest Mary, what a joy to make you look "refreshed and new" again. Can't wait to see the smiles of the owners when they see the transformation. Before and after pics coming soon.

This is the first time painting a 2D sculpt of Madonna and Child. I love the smooth design and scuplt of this beautiful piece.
